The number of forums that delete posts made on the internet must surely be detrimental to the mental health of individuals. A system could be put in place to send an automated pm to alert the individual that a post has been deleted and include the text for their own records. Otherwise with the increase of the amount of elderly people who develop things like dementia or someone developing paranoia will lead to an increase in the time that people waste health professionals times and the resources of the NHS et al. As well as it pissing off relatives and friends who have to constantly attend to their claims of people being out to get them etc! It is only respectful of those who make the content of websites to at least inform them when this happens.

Its very rare that peoples posts get deleted really. Maybe you should post more considerably if you're having an issue, I cant see it ever affecting someones mental health as when people think its happened, they usually ask and then find out if its happened, thus proving to them they're not imagining things.

I wasn't referring to any posts of mine. Why, is this an admission that this website has deleted posts made by me, with no notification of said action having taken place? I was mentioning it in general, as a concern about how the way that all internet sites. Must be contributing to the mental health of the groups I have mentioned, if forums delete or alter posts without notification. Regardless of anything in the terms and agreemt in the registration for any website. If something is an unfair term in a contract then any detriment which occurs due to unreasonable behaviour or practices could lead the forum owners open to being sued for the damage it causes someones health. We do live in a claims culture afterall.
