Your paranormal experiances????

I hate to use the term "paranormal" because it sort of implys something that cannot exist, but all it is really is something we dont understand.

I've not got any storys myself, except a few times where what I would say was my intuition, has saved my life.

What about you?

The paranormal in my view should be renamed the 'normal';) I suppose my experiences come under that heading, but mine are for the most part ET related.:)

hhmmm... well i dunno what constitutes 'paranormal' but ive had a few 'unexplainable' experiences in my time!!:D

One time i was driving along a very winding country lane and for some reason i was compelled to slow down- i dont know why- i just suddenly braked and dropped my speed by about 20mph, at that moment as i approached a corner a rabbit jumped out of the hedge and across infront of me- if i hadnt have slowed when i felt compelled to do so- i may well have killed the rabbit or even myself as i am one of these stupid drivers which will swerve to avoid killing an animal- regardless of everyone telling me i shouldnt- but i cant stop myself!!:o

the other time is when i was driving to town and as i travelled along again i felt compelled to slow- i thought 'police' to myself and low and behold i came over the hill to find police waiting with a speed gun....luckily i had slowed enough not to fall into the category of speeding- had i not done this- i would definately have been pulled!!

i dont know where this voice comes from- if its in my head- if its me- if its some other 'higher' being/spirit guiding me- all i know is its happened and im grateful to who/whatever it is!:D

My other story is one that freaked me out a lot and i did post it many moons ago- but it was about 3am when i decided to sleep on the sofa- went to drift off - facing the back of the sofa- i'd been laying there ten mins trying to drift off when a bright light flashed infront of me (as if someone shined a lighthouse bulb in my face) accompanied with a large surge of static energy sound- very loud- shook me to my soul- - i was frozen solid with fear for at least 5mins unable to move- my heart was pounding and i was shaking like a leaf! i never found out what it was or why- but i do remember my phone had reset its time saying it was 9am the following day when it was in reality only 3am! my phone had definately been the right time before i laid down as i always check my alarm is set!
the only 'logical' explanation i can come up with is that it was static build up between the tv and the computer- but this is debatable because i was laying facing the back of the sofa with my head buried under the duvet, also the sound of the static suge was so loud (in my head) as if it was actually me that had the static build up! :confused:
also i may possibly have pressed the wrong buttons when setting my alarm on my phone but i very much doubt that as ive done it a thousand times before and not got it wrong!! So ther eyou have it - the best 'unexplained' experiences i can think of at the moment- i have a few more but i need some lunch !! :D

No paranormal experiences myself but an amazing coincedance featuring the number 666 none the less :D

When I was about 14-15 I lived out in the country in a remote area. All the neighbouring villages were pretty small and in those days the local phone numbers (excluding the area code) were only three digits.

I had arranged with a friend to phone him after school one day to arrange to stay over at his place. He lived at a place called Old School House in this village. I had forgotten to take his phone number so I looked it up in the book but I couldn't find it. I remembered that his parents rented the place and the phone was not actually in their name so my mother recommended I try looking up the really common names in the phonebook. So that I did.

Under the name "smith" was a place called School House in the same area so I figured I would call it anyway as that was the nearest match I could find. The phone number was 666 and I thought that was strange because had it been that number it would have been something he would have joked about thinking that was really cool to have as a phone number but he never had so i was suspicious that this wasn't his number, so I tried anyway.

I rang the number and my friend answered. So we chatted a bit about our plans etc. After a little while he said to me "How did you know I was here by the way?" and I said "Huh? what do you mean". He said that he was only baby sitting for his neighbours and wondered how I found out where he was and got hold of the number. I told him what I had written above and he was totally amazed that I had fluked a phone call to the wrong house where he just happened to be baby sitting as a one off.:D

I like your rabbit and Police experience, this sounds like your higher self talking to you giving you helpful advice:) You would have hated to run over the rabbit, being an animal lover, and getting a speeding fine would have been a pain, 3 points and a fine!
Apparently, trying to have an OBE and astral travelling can put you in closer touch to your higher self......................:)

I had a dream the other night, a girlfriend I haven't seen for a few weeks called me and invited me to a party, I woke up and felt a little sad because I realised it was only a dream. Later that afternoon this same friend called me and invited me to a party. Wow.

Had another dream the night after and in this dream a policeman was looking through my mobile phone messages and I didn't know if I was going to be arrested or not. I rarely take a mobile phone out with me so hopefully this one won't come true.

In some ways I am very perceptive but in others I'm a complete idiot so it all evens out in the end.

Lottie :) regarding your slowing down when driving, I had a similar thing when driving around a bend on a motorway at 120mph at midnight, I heard my dad say to me "Don't be stupid, slow down" so I did slow down and called him a party pooper in my head.

I have loads, 2 UFO's, a few OBE's and loads of dream ones.

The wierdest dream one was about a girl i hadn't seen for about 5 years, or since i finished school, i had a dream i was riding a bike through my local town and a massive whirlwind came down the hill from the underground station, in the dream i rode my bike up to outside the moons pub which is where the wind had stopped and met this girl, nothing strange there, as i have loads of wierd dreams.

BUT

2 weeks later i went down to the shops, borrowed my brothers bike and bumped into that same girl outside the moons pub.
We then kept bumping into each other throughout the whole of that summer. I went to Bristol for a weekend about 2 weeks after that, went into a night club and the first person i saw in there was her again.We grew up in North west london over 100 miles away from Bristol! Co-incidence or fate?

Out of body experiences, i have had loads of these, i used to get them once a week when i took ecstacy every weekend due to being a raver.

The most interesting one though was not chemically induced, it happened last summer, i was at my ex's house, her dad had been painting the front of the house, so had some scafolding at her bedroom window. I often meditate if i can't get to sleep as it relaxes me, we were in bed i couldnt get to sleep so lay there meditating, in my state i was slowly floating up out of my body and moving to and out of her window, as i got to the window, she suddenly woke up and shouted, what the hell are you doing outside the window, to me.

This really shocked me as i didn't think others could see things like that, I thought i only experienced the floating, but she definitely saw me out of the window.

ET/UFO ones i will post in that section when i have time. They are quite long.

Other dream ones include people on here, who i have never met.

ive had a few things happen to me

the first event was when i was about 12 and id just watched a programme about real life horror stories.anyway when it was time for bed i was rather scared of something being in my house so i said out loud 'if there is anything here knock that can of lynx (deoderant) over and ill give you ten seconds' (i was very young and very scared lol) so i counted to ten ,started off slow then got real fast to ten;) and NOTHING happened -phew i thought ,my rooms clean, i got in bed and fell asleep.then in the middle of the night i heard the noise of the can getting knocked on its side ,it kinda half woke me up but just enough to hear the noise and i then carried on sleeping.in the morning i got up picked the can up which was now on its side and sprayed myself,as i put it back in its upright position i realised what had happened.

all i can work out is that an unexplained energy knocked it over ,either my energy or some other energy.

ive also seen i ghost of a girl who looked right at me ,the first thing i said to my partner was i must of imagined it maybe i did.

the wildest thing was a dream i had about 10 years ago. it didnt feel like a dream though it felt like something happening to me while a slept.

it started as a brilliant white light with a unearthly sound like a turbine or a jet engine it started at my feet the light moved up my body slowly ,the closer it got to my head the louder it got,as it moved to my head the light and the sound was extreme as it got to my head it peaked and stayed there for a few seconds then it worked its way back down again with the sound getting lower ,it went to my feet and then past my feet and at that point the sound stopped, the noise stopped and i woke like a switch had been flicked.it felt like a was being scanned or something it wasnt nice at all.

after that dream i had dreams of out of this world acceleration and g forces that ive never felf in life.

Ive had quit a few things happen to me. one of the recent ones was.
My mam died in march this year and i never got to say good bye to her.
So her house telephone number which is in my moble phone i sent her a message to tell her i love and miss her very much. I sent the message to the number knowing the number had been deleted from BT for 2 months and the number would be not in use plus you cant really text land lines.
About 30 sec later i got a call from a private number a lady asking who was that. It didnt sound like me mam but i got shy for what i had put in the txt and said they had the wrong number
My mam always ask whos that when people phoned her.
