I've had a tattoo done and watched while the fella done it so unless she was knocked out (don't buy falling asleep unless she was blocked) then she would have known she was getting more than 3 tattoos. I think she regrets getting this daft looking thing done to her face. All her mates called her a doucebag no doubt and laughed hard when they saw it. So now she has to get rid of it but laser treatment isn't cheap so this is her cunning plan! Get £10 grand to get rid of it.................like I said 'she's a doucebag' :p:p:D:cool:

People should embrace being unique just a little bit. Why the hell would I want to look like any of you boring sods? :p, I think it would be cool to have something like this.
Ones who take the piss are not worthy of having friends, I'd bet they would steal your money or backstab you at the earliest opportunity

She fell asleep while being tattooed on her face...
And the bloke she was being tattooed by looks like what the fuck and fried onion rings type bizzaro..
I actually feel sorry for the tattoo artist here!
Or maybe not: He's quite a switched on bloke apparently...
'But be that as it may: Kimberley is unhappy and it is not my wish to have an unsatisfied client. There is a way to remove the tattoos with the help of a laser. I accept to pay for half the cost.'
Rouslan claimed Kimberley was happy with the work when she left his shop in Coutrai but changed her mind when her father saw the stars.
'She's 18 years old, she's an adult,' he said. 'I don't regret it. To tell you the truth, this has given me some publicity.
Was she perhaps on drugs and later regretted her stupidity?

How you work that out? If my friend showed up to my house looking like that I'd laugh at him alright, prob sing 'starry starry night by don mclean' as well. But where does the back-stabbing and stealing come into play here? Don't make sense lol
Everyone is 'unique' in their own way. For better or worse...just not everyone wants to be the 'I'm special crew' by looking like a doucebag ;)

Yes "Starry starry night...." :D
For the next 60 years...
Don't fall asleep while you're being tattooed...

Because if you laugh at someones misfortune, then your a bloody git.. I bet the same people who laugh at something like this, would laugh at children and animals hurting themselves on those Video clip shows. Which are just so not funny. The same type of people who laugh at you if you dropped some food you had lovingly made for them (yes, I have had that happen and it really got to me)
I also value art, craftmanship (artists in general) and uniqueness, and infinite variety

Now he looks a bit shocking, but comes across as a decent bloke somehow.
It takes all kinds, but scooby is just referring to banter, not abuse...
People who do things to get attention have to accept that they will get attention. Simple!
Why 56 stars? What is the significance of 56 stars?

Didn't hurt as much as I thought it would (had 3 pints of beer in me though to null the pain as told it can hurt) but still felt it. Anyone with tattoos buying the she fell asleep story? On the face would hurt a hell of alot more than the arm as well as not as much flesh as someone here has already pointed out.

It was a thread about tattoos. Sorry i don't have a link. Yeah you have to be sober and drug free in my respectable tattoo parlours anyway or they won't touch you. I was talking about people having to take some form of psychological test before being allowed to be tattooed. I think tattoos should be a priviledge rather than a fashion statement.

I am just playing devils advocate.
I just hate it that tattooing has become like buying a new pair of shoes. No thought goes into getting them or even what people are getting. it has become pure fashion and it sucks. Instead of people buying clothes on a mass scale they are inking their bodies on a mass scale and becoming clones.
Maybe instead of a psychological test they tattoo artist should ask a loaded question to assertain if the primary reason is fashion or not.
lol

Not to mention the paperwork one has to fill out affirming you don't have certain blood borne or air borne diseases, affirming you are not under the influence of drugs or alcohol and are entering into the transaction of free will and that was back in the early 90's.
Then the artist looks you over well and in the eyes to give his best determination your really aren't under the influence.
I had my small tattoo done on my hip - a fleshy area particularly on the female. The lining felt no worse than someone scraping their fingernail on my skin and the coloring felt like someone pressing on my skin with their finger. The most uncomfortable part - not painful - was him stretching the skin taught.
I've heard other locations can be painful, though such as on the collar bones, shoulder blades, inside of the upper arm or inside of thigh.

How does one fall asleep with a needle constantly poking the sensitive skin of their face? That doesn't look like something a tattoo artist would simply do on his own, then again maybe he did. I think it's a case of not thinking things through on both parties.
I'm personally not a fan of tattoos, or piercings. I don't see how something that millions of people have, and have done since the dawn of current civilization, can be individualistic. People can do as they please I suppose, so to each their own. :)

That's exactly my question.
56 tattoos in the face doesn't strike me as something you could sleep through.
That, coupled with the fact that an independent witness spoken to by investigators stated she had asked for that many stars; this whole story stinks of "spoilt young womanl gets harassed by father, regrets decision and tries to blame tattooist rather than taking responsibility for her own stupidity."

anyways i reckon the artist was grossly irresponsible, if the girl had been in her twenties and her body had plenty of other ink and some piercings then fair enough, but all her skin was pure as driven snow in tattoo and piercing terms and she's hardly sporting an alternative haircut either.
if the bloke wants "publicity" he can have it, if he did that to my daughter i'd burn his tattoo parlour to the ground, preferably whilst he was inside, asleep. then again perhaps that is a bit harsh, maybe a sledgehammer to his hands would be more righteous and ensure he isn't able ever to do this outrage again.

I agree with you. Now because she can't own up to her bad choice, the tattoo artist will likely be the one to take full blame. I hope he doesn't, and I hope he counter sues for slander and defamation of character. I'm sure it's hurting the business.

he should have known better. just cos someone tips into his parlour and asks for ink work doesn't mean he is obligated to do it, especially when the customer is only 18 years old. a lot of tattoo artists refuse to ink on the face anyways from what i comprehend... the guy is a utter bastard.

virtually everyone has done something when aged 18 that they in later years wish they hadn't, the difference is most stuff we do when young doesn't involved having loads of stars permanently inked onto your face. even if she has them removed by laser they'll still be scarring, and even if it isn't major i doubt she'll ever be able to go out in sunshine without heavy suncream protection.
think back to when you were that age... did you know what you wanted in life? had you the experience of being on the planet a certain number of complete orbits of the earth round the sun? in the eye of the law 18 is deemed adult yet the fact is our brains don't stop developing til we are 24 years old. knowing what teenage girls are like about their appearance this poor kid will probably be on the brink of suicidal thoughts. the tattoo artist was grossly irresponsible and morally inhumane.

What a liar! There's no way she feel asleep. Perleeeze!!! Apparently she was standing up when he tattooed her face. All that's happened here is that her Dads hit the room when he saw her face and she said "But I only asked him to put two stars on my face honest!"

He was irresponsible given that many young people are naive, certainly not all, but she isn't a child as you pointed out. Seems like something she did to spite her father, and discovered later that it wasn't worth it. Rather than take responsibility for her choice, she blamed the artist. Putting the entire thing on him does not make sense to me. It's like someone who blames a store for selling them whiskey and them drinking an entire handle, deciding to drive home, and killing a family returning home from grandma's house. Sure you could blame the store for selling it, but the store didn't force the man to make an irresponsible choice. No one forced the girl to get those tattoos either.
It's rather unfortunate for both of them. As I said previously, I think this to be a case of irresponsibility on both accounts. She should have thought it through, and he should have known that many young people tend to leap before they look often. I don't think there should be a lawsuit over it though, given the shady nature of the girl's side. No one falls asleep while having their face poked with a needle unless she has nerve damage in her face. That isn't likely since she said she felt pain.

their site says though:
Laser Tattoo Removal
Once believed to be a permanent and irreversible mark on the skin, tattoos can now be removed from the skin safely and cost effectively when administered by an experienced dermatologist. After a number of treatment secessions (6-12 based on skin type and tattoo size), your tattoo will be fully removed, and in most cases unseen by the naked eye.
hmm 6-12 sessions, allow the skin to heal for about 5 weeks..sounds about right then

nice gadget, wait till the police get a modified version of that!
from blinkskincare.com
Lasers work by producing short pulses of light that pass harmlessly through the top layers of the skin to be absorbed by the tattoo pigment. This laser energy causes the tattoo pigment to fragment into smaller particles that are then removed by the body’s immune system. Researchers have determined which wavelengths of light to use and how to deliver the laser’s output to best remove tattoo ink. The laser selectively targets the pigment of the tattoo without damaging the surrounding skin.

this lass is lying....as someone who has tattoos myself in the odd sensitive place  there is not a frikkin chance in hell that she slept soundly through this. Also, she would have had to SHOW the tattoo artist how many and where she wanted them.
she should grow some, and take some responsibilty, and if she doesnt she can borrow mine...
btw I am in process of removing 3 of my tattoos. I started with TCA (acid) which I bought over the internet for £30...got good results. However, my tats were deep so now I am trying a new method called E-Raze. It is just like getting a tattoo but it binds the ink in skin and brings it to the surface. £50 a pop.
Its not the money, its the time as treatments can only be done every 2-3 months *groan*

I'd be 100% against that. No logic in it and why would someone have to take a psychological test to get a tattoo. Who would run these tests? where would the data be kept? How and why would you be allowed/disallowed to have a tattoo because of this test> Nah flawed in many ways. Up there with getting you're fingerprint taken for a passport.
That isn't likely since she said she felt pain.
i think you are making fair points, i just can't comprehend why the tattoo artist did it, i can't imagine he gets many teenagers in his parlour asking to have half their face covered in ink. i can fathom people getting tattoo'd, but the whole star thingy has already dated aka people seem to do it for "fashion" reasons without considering that fashions change and they might feel differently about the designs in a few years time. that's the main reason why i've never had any done, can never make my mind up on a design that i'd still feel happy about when i am old and wrinkled (which ain't that far away now)

56 in. Rokkaku Kite - Star
The sanjo rokkaku (or rok, for short) is a traditional Japanese bowed kite. These kites are used in "kite battles" in which participants fly these highly decorated kites in an effort to cut the line of their opponents.
Based on the traditional Japanese form, this beautiful Rokkaku is rock-solid in flight and has the ability to "go up and stay up"!

P.P.S. THEM TATTOOS STILL SUCK. ;)
Stupid, spoilt little bitch.
I would have to agree here, I mean how could you sleep threw that? I doubt the guy done it just for the sake of it. Would cost him alot of time and money. Would be a funny way to get your kicks.

When she is mature, and her skin starts to sag and wrinkle, this will look so awful.
Too many people have these mutilations just out of peer pressure.
So in that regard, they are not showing 'uniqueness' at all, instead they are just another clone following the crowds... like 90% of males that have skinhead haircuts, bling-bling or choose to wear hoodies... not a unique or strong personality amongst any of them.
They seek the protection of Pack conformity, all very fear-driven, reptile-brain.
I have no tatoos, my hair grows as it wants, I don't burn my skin brown with sun or sunbeds to be 'in', I wear boring clothes that I want, rather than what the crowds think they want.
That is unique nowadays :p

I mean ... for fuck sake ...
If she has regrets, then let her put her arms up and say ... "shit, I really fucked up this time."
If her father and brother went apeshit, then let her appear embarrassed in front of the camera and say ... "fuck me, I didn't half screw this one up ... my Dad and Bro went off on one when they saw it ... I guess I didn't even think how they would react ... it seemed cool at the time."
But to end up saying ... "I didn't want 56 stars ... I fell asleep while this tattooist stuck needles in really sensitive parts of MY FACE continuously ... I never asked for this ... I only wanted 3 stars ... but somehow the language got fucked up and he mistook three to mean 56 ... and the witness who supports him ... well, she is suffering from the same translation problem ... and and and ... I want hime to pay me 10,000 in compensation ... because if I ask for a really stupid amount of money for being a retarded bitch who makes up really stupid stories, like falling asleep with excruciating facial tattooing being done, then it will show my dad just how much I am serious when I say that it was done against my will ... I mean, fuck ... if I don't sue disproportionately, then it will make it look like he is telling the truth, and then I really will get an ass whooping from my Dad and Bro ... so not only do I have to lie about falling asleep while I'm getting my face pummelled by really sharp little needle points continuously - which is also my very first tattoo ever, so I was really, really nervous and so pumped full of adrenalin that it would be humanly impossible to fall asleep anyway ... I have to make it sound like I'm really pissed at this guy and make the money a large amount."
FOOTNOTE
Wouldn't a tattoo of this intricacy be stencilled on the face first?
I can not imagine that anything this complicated would be done freehand; especially on an area like the face.
If so, would she not have seen that there were a few more than the "3 stars" she is claiming in the stencil version???

even if she is spouting bullshit about falling asleep, the tattoo artist should have said no in the first place. he might think face ink is cool and all that, but it appears he is unable to grasp that other people are not the same as him.
if anything her bullshit about falling asleep highlights her immaturity and innocence even more, the tattoo artist has exploited that rather than nurture it.
the lass is only 18 years old ffs. people who have more experience of life, by virtual of having been on the planet in complete orbit of the sun terms than younger people have a responsibility to guide said youngers. that responsibility doesn't stop with parents and relatives- it should be all older people- even tattoo artists.
sure this is a event being peddled by the msm, but it is dangerous to assume that everything they spout is part of the nefarious agenda. if anything this event is fuelling divide and conquer, and it is working a treat going by some of the comments in this thread alone. where has the compassion for fellow human beings gone? i know on the scale of things a girl having her face covered with tattoo is in no league with innocent civilians being murdered in iraq, but we are each are own individual and have the right for others to treat us with compassion and respect.

You preach "compassion and respect", but applaud this little two-faced bitch as she has no respect or compassion for the tattooist, who merely fulfilled her request ... then LIED and is now attempting to EXTORT money from him for HER MISTAKE.

being 18 and thus in the eyes of law "adult" doesn't make a person so. our brains don't stop developing till we're about 24 years old. her laying the fault at the tattoo artist is another sign that she ain't no adult aka she's immature. the very fact the tattoo artist has offered to pay half the costs of removal shows he knows he was in the wrong... plus his spout about "publicity". but hey! maybe he's immature as well and if that's the case he shouldn't be inking people, well not on the face anways.
i don't think there is anything spineless about standing up for younger people. the tattoo artist is much older than her and should have known better. he has a responsibility, like we all do, to look out for people who are young. and fuck what the law says. if it were your daughter that had tipped home with that shit on her face would you be sticking up for the tattoo artist who did it? guess you'd be spieling her some shite about her being of legal age and thus responsible for her own actions. if a tattoo artist did that to my 18 year old daughter i'd cut his face off.
i dunno yozhik, maybe you did nothing stupid when you were 18 years old. i know i did, but thankfully there were older people around to stop me from doing really stupid stuff. and i know for a fact when i got found out for some of that stupid shit i blamed everyone but myself for it happening aka like most 18 years old, i was clueless as to the ways of the world.
