Okay anyone out there who has seriously read through the world religions knows that most of the accepted big ones are transcendental in nature..

they tell you that there is a big difference between psychic and spiritual phenomenon...which can be misleading in those religions that view the universe as a thought.

Now two western disciplines Sufi and Eastern Orthodox talk about connecting to god via the heart....this is the seat of your higherself.
(holy guardian angel, higherself...archetype..etc)
Eastern Orthodox uses the Jesus prayer (hesychasm) sp[oken in the heart, while sufi polishes the heart with the names of god which are also divine attributes of yourself.

Okay anyway i ran into a teacher who says that they can teach how to get in touch with that aspect of your self...all fine and good.
The material had a decidedly christian bent which i liked.

Heavy emphasis on discernment, because lets face it people, there are alot of not so nice earthbound spirits out there and heaven knows what that would like to send you messages.

THE PROBLEM
then this person mentioned that they are like the Archetype of the ARCHITECT in matrix reloaded. ..This threw up huge read flags for me...do you think i am being too suspicious?

No, I don't.

No, I don't.

Thanks Size_of_light...i appreciate the input.

I heard this teacher on coast to coast, and was initially impressed by her saying that you were the only authority in your own life, which i agreed with...said she had some tools that anyone could use to get in touch with Source on a permanent basis.
And checked out her book.

(it would be nice to not have to figure everything out for myself..)

I haven't seen the Matrix reloaded all the way through so I'm not quite sure about the significance; I preferred the first movie. I wish I could be of more advice. The words to this song pretty much sum up how I feel about the quest for truth:

I don't know, what did you expect to get from this person?

I personally would go for an established organisation if you were interested in such things.

Tbh she sounds like she is a talking about stuff that is along the lines of Rosicrucianism, Theosophy, the secret doctrine and mystical stuff, would it not be better to cut out the middleman and approach such an organisation if that was what you were interested in?

Be very discerning, ask questions, some organisations/orders are not good, these groups are not all evil. This is just western mysticism which has become maligned and tarnished. But I would advise doing more research.

I just bought the book, didn't join anything..i am allergic to joining movements/churches/organisations etc.

i am a NATURAL mystic/gnostic...i have had quite a number of mystical experiences, they happen usually without my trying to make them happen (NDEs OOBEs, crazy stuff)..The one time that was work was when i had Source speak in my heart... i was hoping to get some advice from the book on how to do that without so much work...last time i had to work pretty hard to get into a high emotional frequency range...and on this planet it is NOT easy.
(emotions hook directly in to the lower end of the spiritual, so they can often be used as a bridge )

I thank you for your perspective though, as i wouldn't want to get involved with the whole theosophy/rosicrucian/ incense and bells sort of thing either...blech.

Okay...the reason this makes me so nervous...reference to the architect...besides the OBVIOUS tie in with freemasonry..

Architect to me means something that shapes a thing that is already there.

this is obvious to most of you...this would be the Demiurge to most gnostics..
To the Christians/Jews/Muslims for some reason this is Lucifer...which i personally think is not quite right.

Unless they believe Lucifer actually shaped this universe.

I am not sure what i believe, as little as possible hopefully.

Here is the CLIP:
(hope this works cause i don't see a button to embed youtube)

YouTube - Broadcast Yourself.

The way i see it...i do not see the architect as a good thing, but something that perverts and diverts life force to use it for its own nefarious purpose.

here is a christian perspective

(i think they are off base because i believe the Old Testament God is the demiurge)

TBH, the whole process you are describing involves a lot of work. You should actually be wary of anything or anyone who promises quick fix solutions in this area.

The reason I mention Rosicrucianism is because I was a member of a Rosicrucian order and it actually taught me a lot. I got funny about the organised thing and left.

Tbh I am seriously considering reinstating my membership as the teachings are delivered in a well structured tried and tested way. I was never brainwashed or forced to do anything, in fact the members were encouraged to question everything and become walking question marks.

It wasn't like Masonry, if you want an old boys network it's not for you! It's more mystical.

Anyhow, I am doing my reiki 1 soon, maybe that would be of benefit for you?

Yes, Architect does sound Masonic :D

But it also sounds quite egotistical don't you think, so I would also be untrusting of such a person as I would think they were overly full of their own importance. Unless they're trying to give the nod that they're a Mason!

I also belive the god of the old testament is the demiurge, but the demiurge is also an emanation of the source.

Not necessarily..i found it out myself and i am sure there are other ways to do it that may not take so much work.

There are different main branches of rosicrucianism that i am aware of..AMORC ,Rosicrucian Society,Anthrosophy..

They are based on theosophical concepts.

At any rate,my abilities are developing naturally, which is why i called myself a natural Mystic/Gnostic..Out of Body (OBE) came to me without trying, prophetic dreams ,clairvoyance, seeing spirits, their development is not reliant on any effort on my part which is why i am apt to think they gifts of "grace".

I was only looking for one tool not a whole paradigm.. It looks like i will just do what i was doing then..go back to experiementing and finding things out for myself.

.

Yeah i got the whole Reiki thing back in 2005-2006
You may want to rethink that...i have not found Reiki good for much of anything except i sometimes use it in prayers..

My rabbits push their heads into my hands and i am not sure it is the Reiki energy they crave because they run away if i mentally invoke the symbols..

It really has not been good for healing anything that i have seen.
but that is me...
I also am beggining to wonder if being a reiki channel doesn't compromise your aura...that is something you need to be aware of.
