infinity symbol

I'm thinking of getting a small infinity symbol as a tatoo.... representing infinite conciousness, infinite possabilitys and the cycle of life...

I consider this to be my symbol as its followed me through out my life, so much so that my husband and i decided to get married on the 8th of the 8th as it just seemed perfect. found out recently too that my birth weight was 8lb 8ozs lol

We have a few items around the house that are symbolic of this and its a good constant reminder of who we are :)

I did think of getting a snake eating its tail.... Ouroboros, but thought i'd stay away from the reptilian symbology...... although a Ouroboros round the ancle would look good.

greydove..... thanks for that info - I'v never realy noticed it used for programming/mk - other than the Billy Graham instance, do you have any links?

to be honest, I'm not too bothered about any connotations the symbol has taken on in the last 50years.... it is representative of infinity.... the last 50years or so is a drop in the ocean.

thats cool.... my body art is a work in progress.....
I do have a small celtic tri-form on my arm - 3spirals.... to balance out my (and the worlds!) masculine energy......

I do want a big piece done - probably a sleave and part of my chest/back..... want somethin gemetric, but still organic.... kindof like old caligrify art... if that makes sence?
