That is f*cking excellent :D One of the herd broke free and the others followed. I got a tear in me eye watching that :)
Thanks for posting whiterain.

We should all be dancing like that, instead of being frightened of what someone else might think of us.

Take note, that is the kinda feelgood factor that we need to keep hold of, I loved festivals where we hippy types used to spread the magic. Ahhh! alas those days are gone..for me anyway.

Those days are gone full stop. I was at Bestival last year and they had sniffer dogs on the gates and the police were searching people before they went in. So I chucked my gear away hoping to buy some herbal stuff and guess what? Fucking pigs had raided the herbal highs tent and carted off all the contents apart from the guarana drinks (red bull basically).

I missed out on experiencing real festival magic by leaving until we're living in a police state before going to my first :(

I dont see the connection between "gear" and having the freedom to dance. I get high on fresh air (which is in short supply these days I admit), but each to their own.

not that ive ever been to the big festies cos they dont really interest me but for that kind of thing the smaller ones are great i reckon. went to one a couple of years ago and the first night sat in our camper turned into a herbal/medicinal bring and buy swapshop. if anything we had to much selection. hence an lsd speed mishap... :D

on second thoughts the police were probly there too just i was too trollied to care

Weird Kid Starts Huge Dance Party at Sasquatch Festival

Good stuff. Always the same, isn't it. People sit there watching, analysing the pros and cons in their mind, weighing up how it will appear other. Should they get up and join him? Is anyone laughing at the guy yet? Doesn't seem so. But I'll look around first and check other people's body language and listen to what they're saying. Only when there is a sizeable number to be 'lost' in, do masses come. We see this again and again in life, don't we. 2 or 3, not enough. 20-30, enough. Plant this onto populations of millions. 200-300,000 isn't enough. 2-3 mllion probably isn't enough. 20 million, and the whole damn lot will join in.
