First of all i want to say hello to everyone i am new to David Icke's forum, but not to his work. I am very fond of him and what he does, especially the simplicity and "inner fire" he does it with. He was recently in Croatia doing a 9 hour long megasession(was supposed to be 7 hour long but i ain't complaining :p) which i attended and enjoyed beyond words.
Anyway, concerning thread, about 2.5 months ago i started writing songs, mostly out of fun, or simply when i felt some kind of inspiration. I just thought i could share some of them here with you.
so here it is:
this one is called "life untitled" it was one of my first ones
"life untitled"
i once believed
in something that made me whole
now i'm digging through shit
like a blind mole
this wild world scorched the floor
and watched the heavens fall
taste of absence never so sweet
in these forgotten streets
and important got ripped off
by the new thing
a life untitled
lived by quoting
dark corners scare the lights
preaching lost tales of the sands
rise and fall
come to go
never enough death
to make peace
in this place
of freedom and justice
don't call me
i'm out of range
i found a place
where this is strange
i wrote this one the next day after the megasession.
at the end of the convention when he was taking all the things what he said and putting it in one last message there was a slide with big "Time to Fly" written on it, so the things he said and that slide were what initially inspired this song.

when you see what you had to see
when you find what you had to find
and there's no place left
no place left to go
when time just won't stop and wait
and your dreams are alone
close your eyes
and walk that road
take one thing with you
the only thing you can't run out of
and you can't leave behind

even tho you've been asking god
and they look at you like you're out of your mind

and all the words can't translate
the meaning of your existence
and the dreams just won't come out of your head

that isn't fit to understand
we give our best to comprehend
words of the brightest minds
and follow our little signs
you look at the night sky and wonder
why do they keep shining on
what is it in them
that makes them want to go on
and you know
it's more than just air to breathe
and ground to stand on
it's where they come from
and i have to believe these words
the times they are a-changin'
though i see
that the waters have grown
but a while longer may be all we need
to plant the new seed
they say if you are to change yourself so much
everything else will change just as much
and maybe one day we will learn
that enough, is just having another hand
and sometimes, things do get better
in this disappearing world

of stars in motion
and pledging my undying devotion
to it's selfless notion
looking for a closure
to this raw exposure
things are ceasing to look faded
i think i almost made it
sun is up and the night is bright
i left behind my need to fight
i am coming to see
how anything can be
"new age child"
what were you doing today?
have you figured out what to say?
you know i've been working all day
for my month's pay
what are you thinking about?
can't you leave that behind?
and just be like the rest
you know we all do our best
it's well past midnight
and you're still awake
what have i told you
about staying up late
what you are saying makes no sense
if there were such things
don't you think we'd know?
after all you're still just kids
i was here long before you were born
and i assure you there is nothing wrong
you better get real
and start working for your next meal
i wrote about 40 of them so far, but like half of them are in Croatian, and these ones are sort of "neutral" meaning they're not love songs :).
however if you like them, i might post the rest of them too.
