The lost tomb of Jesus...

Howdy doody :)

haven't spotted this on this forum yet, forgive me if it's already been discussed i just didn't come across it...was wondering what you guys think of this whole jesus tomb thing???

When this documentary was aired on french tv they put it on at bloody midnight! When nobody would be bothered watching it. It was a hard slog for me trying to understand it cause it was quite technical so i can't really give my opinion until i see it again (we bought the dvd for my oh's dad therefore i'll pinch it) or else see it in english (when i get it for my dad) :D

I do find the symbol, or rather the re-occurring symbol associated with the tomb/whole jesus movement thang interesting, it's remarkably like the usual freemasonic symbol you see of the set square...could also be a sun or eye in the center of a pyramid...any thoughts?


Typical though, they're just putting this discovery out there now (apparently this was discovered in the 80's and kept quiet...of course now the timing is right for a revival of christianity...

I just discover now on the French TV late in the night (TF1 05/29/2007 11:30 PM) your -no superlative needed- documentary and the debate with Father Di Falco.

You said in french you feel the "conspiration du silence" about this eminent question after the Father reacts and before he declares that his faith will be "ebranlee" because his faith is based on the "Ressuscitation" and the physical "Ascension" of Jesus (rem : Both are jewish beliefs about soul after death, and clearly exclude any physical issue).

What a dogmatic position he states in front of a major reality, known universally today that Jesus IS Yechoua ben Yossef who was considered as a dissident Rabbi by the jewish establishement infeoded to the Roman power !

What a weakness of the faith when he declared refusing even to imagine that this "yechoua ben yossef" surrounded by all those family graves can be Jesus ... if no "irrefutables" evidences -the ones miraculously saved by the founders of the Catholic Christian Church- are shown to Him !

And you invite him kindly to work with you ! Terrific what do I need to declare to do so ??!!
But now, You can then ask for an invitation in Vatican caves!
Please tell me when it will occurs I want to be part of this great venture !!

As an orthodox jew, firmly involved in global friendship (and not only with this or those) I want to say to all the Christians how their faith is strenghtened by your document, and how dangerous are the church's dogms everywhere !

This is what happenes if you take symbology literally ;) > wasting time/energy on things that never happened...

Just to make some things cear:

Bible > man-made

Religion > man-made

If codname "God" came to earth and someone would ask him "What religion are you?" ... He would probably laugh his ass off for 12 years - (whoa symbology?)

It wasn't untouched... one of the ossuaries, James, had been taken away. The names in the family tomb were presented as evidence for a high probability that this was his tomb. The way the archeologists handled the manuscripts found, was vandalism. Maybe this was just recreated for drama. Not enough info on what they said. Investigation of the nearby untouched tomb wasn't covered. Officials closed this down as an investigation. Didn't find out much about the illuminati type symbol.

My Opinion: Just didn't feel right at all.

hey cruise :) yep that's the doc alright. I know, that annoyed me the fact they kept making a big deal out of the symbol and then never told us anything about it (surprise surprise). Could possibly, as i said before, a scam just to get people back to christianity...i think you'e right on the drama too, esspecially getting james cameron to direct it.

I'll have to watch it again anyway...cheers for coming back to post after seeing it cruise

Yeah, i doubt the jesus saga happened in the literal exoteric (as opposed to inner esoteric) sense in which the masses (us) are led to believe...jesus is himself a symbol of, as far as i see so far, re-birth as in enlightenment...light etc...i've put this on the back burner for the post part as you can tell so don't know as much as i'd liek to about it!

There is however a huge amount of knowledge, of what i don't know, encoded in the bible, which is of course man made...and was re-written and edited so many times to suit the dogma...condition and imprison humanity etc that in the end it's hard to make any sense of it a all, or what truth to take from it.


a friend of mine has studied the bible inside and out and knows more about it than anyone. He broke free from being a jehova's witness just cause well his family were and it was through seeing how things just didn't add up in the bible and with what the "ancients' as they call themselves, basically the preachers were dolling out to them at each meeting.

hehe what you said about God there coming down to earth reminds me of that chapter in I am Me, i am Free where icke has god looking down on muslims, jews etc changing his mind who are his choosen people and calling for them to slaughter themselves or eachother in his name...it's so funny! :D

One of my favourite icke moments there. If only people would realise how contrived, calculated and controlled religon really is, it's just a tool used to control, that's it people. :rolleyes: As a tool it's worked well hasn't it, splitting up and dividing, "War=Peace" and all of that rubbish.

No, LOVE, MUTUAL RESPECT, UNDERSTANDING and TOLERENCE/ACCEPTANCE =Peace.

Pity humanity is too stupid to realise it, and on their own. How can they think religon is the answer, don't get me wrong, i do have a lot of respect for people who do go to church and have faith, but most people only do it for show, then the rest don't believe in anything at all and that's even worse...Spirituality is the key, and it's already in you, you don't need a fancy church with loads of precious relics etc inside while poverty and hardship is abound outside, you just need you and your heart, that's it. Cheesy but that's it. :rolleyes:

Ah religon. The double standards. Priests are forbidden to marry, to make love cause it's dirty yet it's how we reproduce and show immense affection for one another, it's wrong to share your body but don't worry if you want to have sex with little innocent boys and girls from your parish, go ahead, we'll turn the blind eye and hush it up quick if it ever gets out. :eek:
Condoms are forbidden, can only make love to have babies and yet the same people are making millions with shares in condom companies...
ok i better shut up now!

As for the jesus tomb i'm intruiged by that symbol and gonna keep digging for info about it!
