I looked at this as a kind of light hearted approach to learning as if the publishers or authors of the text book are saying that they know kids are aware of UFO's and also aware of the mathematical brilliance they must hold in order to achieve their technological feats, so who better to learn maths from than the aliens ,its almost making fun of the ufo subject again.

To be honest I wouldn't have taken much notice until I saw the shapeshift pic, clearly half reptillion and wearing a tie (government)

On examining the page the only clue I found was the word "rediculous" in big writing at the title.
So I thought it was subliminal ie shapeshifting reptillions = Rediculous.

lots of sublininam suguestions within the patterns of the writing and shapes .

one of them shows 2 sides of red triangles pointing in different directions .

the 1st makes this = f
the next makes this= o
the next makes= L
the next makes=y

foly .

its there , and so is all the ohter surguestiveness in it .

the blue blocks says F I T

thus we have = fit foly .

this is a bad way to learn things , but touches the potential we could use to get the message out .

we can use their own methods against big brother

it is more powerfull as it is the subconscious language .

There is no doubt that there is a hell of allot of subliminals going on regarding UFOs and ETEs recently particularly in the last 10 years or so..

the first blatant one I remember seeing was a investment advert and it had Alan Sugar saying "no one knows what the future holds, so its good to be safe...yadda yadda"... and as he says that a UFO images flyers around in the back ground.. so on...

The thing is, some people will see this as an attempt to make people BELIEVE in them... and there will be other views...

Now, I guess there ae many ways to look at WHY there are such images being pumped into us so much.. in this case cleary to kids...

If there is a UFO/ETE cover up which I am convinced there is.

Then we would have to see this as an attempt to uncover it up... as much as they want to control us, they do not want to destroy the bee hive and they know that to much antagonising may well do that, so they want to keep us together, but obviously they want to make ETEs and UFOs more known.. more excepted...more of a REALITY.

Because lets face it for many people the word UFO is a fantasy joke...

To those who think its all about tricking people into believing them then I would just point out that if this was the case they could do an awful lot more and if this was really their plan then we should really be sat now with no question what's so ever about it... its a phenomena that has not just appeared in our generation, it has been there for a very very long time..

For me these images are the same as many others around the place, and its all apart of slowly bringing awareness to the reality of such things so when events do unfold it is more anticipated rather than a shock to people...

As I was flicking through the channels this show in particular caught my interest because it showed a classroom full of kids staring at their teacher as her eyes momentarily glowed yellow and morphed into reptilian slits. As this takes place the camera zooms into the book the teacher is holding in her hands and it is a book by D.H. Lawrence entitled "Snakes and other poems".

I vaguely remember seeing something like this on Mcdonald's paper bags right around the time that you mentioned. It would certainly be interesting to find a pic. On a related note a late 80's video from the rock band Heart called "Who will you run to" off of their album "Bad animals" ('bad animals'=reptilians?) features dancing humanoid creatures that have symbols drawn on their chests, a few of these creatures are green and reptilian looking and one even has a pyramid with what looks like an all seeing eye on it's chest:
