Hi there,
This i my first post and I expect I will be posting on this forum alot now I have found it and come to realise the true reality.
Anyway if you know anyone who has recently had a new UK photo card driving licence issued then take a look at the hologram on it!!!
It is a steering wheel driving towards an all seeing eye!!!

Thanks mate.
Be sure to find someone who has recently been issued one. I know my stepdad was issued a new one about 7-8 months ago and it still has the old european union logo hologram on his, so this new design is a recent I think.
I will try to photograph mine for you but it is extremely difficult to get it in the right light to see in picture.

I'll try to check one out... Hehe, yeah holograms are tricky things to capture on film, but good luck if you can manage it, that'd be cool :cool:

Its the best I could do. You'd have to find one yourself to see it. Cant find any official picture of the new design anywhere on the net.

Has the new driving licence got a chip in it like the new passports?
My licence has expired and need to get a new one.

I dont think it has a chip in it but you never know.
I sent the dvla an email asking if they could find out who is in charge of the design and why this symbol appears on there.
They shut down my hotmail account!!
Do you think I should be getting worried?

They shut down your hotmail account???? How do you know?
That's out of order I don't know who they think they are, they even sell our details to people, this is one reason why I haven't renewed my licence, only want a new one for ID as I don't like taking my passport out with me because the chip can be read and tracked.

I've tried signing in loads but it just doesn't reconise my email address??

That's strange, similar thing has happened to me. I was offline for a few months and when I came back all my msn contacts had disappeared, now I can't get into the hotmail account at all, same as you, it doesn't recognise my email/password.
And!! All my outgoing messages on my mobile phone have disappeared. Hmm me thinks I'm being hacked, someone either hates me or secretly loves me. I suppose I should be grateful I'm so popular :confused:
Looks like we'll both be opening new hotmail accounts.

Yeah, I dont know if you heard this but it is actual fact.
They can switch the microphone in your mobile phone on, even if the phone is switched off and listen to everything your saying. :(

Yes I know, the only way to remain private is to take the battery out of the phone. I was only using a mobile because I moved house and had to put a new phone line in, that has now been done and I will be smashing up the mobile very soon.
Did you know that they can do the same with landline phones? It's been going on for years. The same with those cable TV box things in America, had a link on it but I've lost it.
