I've been reading this comic book series based on Sodom and Gommorah, and the Golden Dawn [the creator himself is a practicing member, surprise surprise]. The creator frequently uses tarot cards to explain characters motives, situations, outcomes, etc.

I was wondering, can anyone decode the cards used to describe the characters? [I read tarot cards myself, though I focus more on personal relationships; never really used it to foretell someone's fate]

Oh, the creator appears to use the Thoth deck [or some variation of it]

Main Hero [i.e. the Archangel Raphael] is: The Fool, Ace of Swords [In that order]

Main Villain [i.e. the fallen angel Asmodeus - in Gnostic texts, he unleashed the demon Abaddon upon S&G] is: Wheel of Fate, Devil, & Death?[a man, likely Thoth, holding a caduceus & a scythe in the moonlight]

Misguided Villian [i.e. fallen angel Samael, Asmodeus' son/apprentice] is: Nine of Swords,Tower, Hangman-Reverse, Knight of Swords? [A warrior stabbing, like, a snake, with a sword. resembles a saint Margret painting or something]

Anti-Hero [Fallen angel Uriel]: Two of Swords, King of Swords, Hangman, Chariot, Lovers [in this order]

Scarlet Woman[Lilith/Hekate/Woman Clothed w/ the Sun] - is paired with Samael]: Strength, reverse Empress, 2 of Wands, 9 of Swords

My interpretation: Since Hekate is the Scarlet Woman, she's probably gonna be sacrificed or something [trade her soul for Abaddon?] However, Samael seems to love her, I think perhaps he'll sacrifice himself to prevent her death. [well, we can't have them go around creating Nephilim offspring, now can we?]

I also think the Hero will start to comprehend that God allows evil things to happen for a reason; & will begin to lead the misguided souls away from evil, instead of confronting evil directly. [ex. instead of punching the lights out of Asmodeus]. Raphael seems a bit immature, compared to his depiction in the Book of Tobit - I guess he'll grow up/become a better angel?

- Now, if only the Bible had detailed panels of Angels kicking demon arse.... [well, I guess that's what Illuminated Manuscripts are for]

Uriel is not a fallen angel, Uriel is a mighty Archangel.
I can't really figure out his elements of which he creates his characters, but think that is what he is doing i.e. using the elemental attributions to each card and mixing them up a bit to come up with a character, however I think a lot of it may be his own interpetation of Tarot and other occult systems.
Try and get a copy of the Book of Thoth, or 777 would be better online.
Try www.scribd.com and there is another one, but can't recall exact details, something like Esoteric wisdom online, someone here will know it.
