Anyone else had this occurance in the past?
Ive been doing meditation for a while and have been noticing some strange events in my daily activities with people who I do not know. I will mention a brief encounter I had yesterday which I could only explain as 'telepathic'
Standing next two people at my work who were just a day at my work. Anyway the two were long in conversation and was overhearing what they were saying, and thought i might intrude in their conversation and ask a question. I thought of the question in my mind , 'what time is the tube strike going to finish? and low and behold the guy next to me comes up with the same question. Now I was surprised but this has happened a few times with me..LOL
What you guys think about this. Is this an ability which lays dormant in all humans brains just waiting to be untapped? I believe that through meditation it activates this pyshic unused portions of the brain to be utilised. Its just a case of developing the skill over time.

my favourite one is when your with someone and hear a song. then it stays in your mind after its finished and you both break out at the same time singing the same part. mostly happens with my brother. not quite the same i know, but syncros like this do seem to be increasing for me and i tink will be a major factor in the awakening over the next few years

It's only happened to me once, with somebody on this forum actually, when a word they subsequently confirmed they'd just thought to themselves spontaneously 'popped' into my head like a little bubble of audio had burst and allowed me to hear that word in my own mental voice.
It was unusual enough that I somewhat sheepishly asked the other person if they had just thought that word, then discovered they had.
I wouldn't say I was skeptical of telepathy before the experience, but I did have doubts about it.
Now I get the feeling that it is possible to establish a conduit between minds and transfer information in this way, and that if we could somehow figure out how to tap back into this awesome latent ability en masse, it would really be the beginning of the end for those who try to limit and control us.

I have been getting that with my best friend who is also my cousin. We spend so much time together that we often end up freaking each other out by saying something that the other was just about to say. sometimes it's completely random stuff. It's like were twins. Totally in sync with each other. I don't have that connection with anybody else.
People look at us like we are freaks because all we do is giggle but we kind of have this silent communication thing going on. We just have to look at each other and we know what each other is thinking. It's so wierd. We joke about sharing a brain sometimes lol

It requires ALOT OF CONCENTRATION!!!
I dont think i could ever achieve being able to do it,i dont have that much mind power in that area unfortunetly.....
They say you can just think of something and it will happen (Look @ the TV and want it ON and it comes on!!)
Interesting indeed!

Maybe he read you're mind? Can go both ways really. I believe in telepathy. You can play some neat tricks on people if you are intuitive and get good gut feelings. Set around a friend or 2 and if any random thoughts come to your mind, before you blab about it say I know what someones thinking! And say it, they will crap their selves. I don't do that but have done it in the past. I know it will make people not want to be around you much if they think you can read minds. If you just pay attention to your own awareness and senses and not let outside energies distract you can become a natural at this. it just comes to you and sometimes you automatically know things people are thinking by experience if similar scenarios, environment, activity taking place, etc. I think it is a dormant ability we can tap into and be aware of. Most people do it unawaringly and are just like "OMg I was just thinking that!". Cool to know i'm not the only one...dang I thought I was special

I'm a bit confused about synchronicity and telepathy to be honest. How could you tell them apart? Which is seeing 11.11 on clocks, for example?

Oh what the mind can do..
Quite often I get snippits of peoples thoughts, mostly they are mundane day to day stuff, occasionally I hear nasty thoughts and very occasionally pleasant thoughts. I've heard things that were insulting about myself which is awkward. I have no conscious control over which persons thoughts I hear or when but tend to hear them more when in a zen sort of state and focused on something or when very relaxed. I can't do it at whim much as this would be useful.

I think that when you spend alot of time with somebody you become more in sync with each other and can pick up on what the other is thinking and that's why you sometimes say what the other person was about to say or vice versa. It happens to me alot with people that I'm really close with.

i had this on a couple of occasions, i would even think it has been verbally expressed, but then i see their mouth closed and no expression of communication, you realise you just heard thought then

I find telepathy easy when amongst people communicating and interacting with eachother. Not so easy just looking at someone from a distance. I don't hear thoughts, I can't describe it, it's just knowing. Some do claim to literally hear thoughts, though, which in my opinion is possible. Forgot to add an easy way to know what one is thinking, when communicating/interacting you question yourself, why is this person saying this, why is this person doing that, and you tell some things by experience if you have interacted/communicated in a similar manner about what ever it is your saying or doing. The key is to look for the motive behind everything people say and do, for some it comes naturally but you can learn to do this by doing what I suggested. And you figure the answer by your own experience and some by intuition, why you do what you do, why you say what you say, why you type what you typed and you put yourself in that persons position, see from their point of view etc. etc. I know we are all different as far as our motives behind things, but we are similar, more similar than different in my opinion which is why we find ourselves saying things and someone else saying "OMG I was just thinking that!".

Read Secret of the Ages by David Collier, it shows how anyone can do this and we do indeed without realising it.
