Right, ok. This may not be about religion. But it's the closest thing there is to it.
Okay, so i may be still in High school, but i tend to think into things more deeply than most.
I'd like feed back/You're opinions and ETC on this.
I've been thinking too much lately and it's been geting on top of me and really, i think i'm just being stupid. I can't be bothered going into the whole concept of 'Is god real, or isn't he...What's the fuss about?' It's the other things. Everything has a purpose in life, some just don't know what that purpose is. Also, infinity... Is there such thing as a 'Forver and ever'. Everything has to come to an end at some point. Whether it be a human life or your Dish washer. But what i can't get my head around is 'people' say 'space' goes on forver, even though they have no evidence to show this. Just think about it, how can ANYTHING last forever? There has to be an end at some point... Maybe, but where?
How did 'Aliens' come about? Stupid fictional books what just caught the imagination of the people? Or is it somthing that's possible. There is so many things about this world we don't know. We don't even know what we're doing ourselves. Electricity was only discovered about a 100 years ago. Now, everything we do is based on electricity. What could happen in the next 100 years? There's so many galaxys in the 'Black sea'. Maybe one day, travelling to another planet would be like taking a trip to the shops. We just don't know.
The Big Bang - Fact or Fiction? There has been evidence, apparently. I wonder, how can nothingness and nothingness create life? Or this Powerful 'Spirit'. How was life created if everything was 'nothingness'? What gets me most is the fact of Time. How did it come about? How can you make time?
I once had a conversation about this with a really good friend and i still think to myself constantly. What if we're not real? What if we are some computer generated image that's evolved feelings and senses? Maybe we're the soaps. Maybe there is people or things watching us out there what we don't know about, whatching our lives. Going back to what i said earlier... Nothing can last forever. I believe that our lives have been planned out and are Death has already been written - It took a long night of thinking, don't ask how.
Reincarnation - Real or Not? How can anyone know what happens when you die? Do you come back and live your life as someone else? Or, do you just...die? I watched this documentry on the TV a while back of a young boy who was suposedly living a new life. It was quite amazing. He knew where he lived and all his family from a few decades ago. Everything fell into place. So now i think, no one knows what they're on about and no one is EVER gonna know everything, no matter what they say.
I know you might think i'm being a total and utter twit but it just makes me wonder.
What kind of world are we living in?

Have you read some of Davids books hellie x?
I found myself asking many questions like the ones you are asking at one point in my life also....questions are good! we must question. :) We may not always find the answers, but without questioning and looking into things further it is difficult to form any basis of knowledge.
I recommend that you read some(or all) of David's books, and the pieces will start to slot into place for you, they sure did for me! He has his online bookshop www.davidickebooks.com where you can look through all of his available books and DVD's and purchase online.
If you cannot afford to buy anything right now there are many free ebooks people offer on the internet which are a great basis to start from.
this one may be a good one for you but there is much reading material around. It's just a matter of finding something that resonates with you.

Remember that when you read something, not all will necessarily resonate but there will be parts that do. Trust you intuition ;)
Welcome to the forum
I hope this information will help you

Hi Hellie :)
You ask some very pertinent questions and I believe the only possible honest answer is that we don't know, not right now at least. And that is kind of the point of the whole "game". And that game is the game of remembering. I think that's what we're here for.
I see the universe/reality as every possible situation happening at once, being both infinitely big and infinitely small all at the same time. I see "life" as being billions upon billions upon billions of differing perspectives (people, creatures etc), parallel universes even, looking at this one infinite "reality" in an infinite number of different ways. Each person/perspective/universe is looking at the universe/reality from a slightly different angle therefore sees it in a slightly different way. For example, there's no telling that the colour which I call "green" is actually the colour that you see when you think "green".
Because of this you can never really know what is "truth" because your truth could be a million miles away from someone else's. Neither is right and neither is wrong, it's just a different way of looking at the same thing.
And as for whether things can last forever, I think that you're almost right when you say "nothing" can last forever. I don't think there's any material object that can last forerever, but one thing that probably will last forever, is this game we're playing - the remembering game. I think that could go on forever, and probably longer.

Great post! The only bit I hope you wrong about is the end bit about the remembering game going on and on.

The remembering game, going on forever and ever? It's like a "Soul" .. "The soul lives in" But in acctually fact, it can't... Or can it?
As for the "Green Thing" - I believe what you said.
Why is Green GREEN?
&&Why is Red RED?
(So to speak)
Why does everything have names? Who "Invented" Words, who "invented" LETTERS? I can't picutre a man sitting on the floor 3240832984 B.C thinkin' of random little "Phrases" and putting a silly shape to them. &&Why is there only 26 letters, why not 126? How was language created?
&&For seeing things, as you say " see the universe/reality as every possible situation happening at once, being both infinitely big and infinitely small all at the same time. I see "life" as being billions upon billions upon billions of differing perspectives (people, creatures etc), parallel universes even, looking at this one infinite "reality" in an infinite number of different ways. I think exactly like this but there's things in my life what some what stand out more. For instance i'm a lover of photography i take pictures with a meaning to them or some kind of memory but to someone else it's nothing.
For E.G I took a photo of some stairs, looking downwards (A sprial case) &&I was thinking to myself aswell as it been as beuatiful as it is i could relate to it as the "Steps towards life" Or somthing to do with "Cycles". I also thought to myself how many people have been up and down these stairs? How many people may of died on the stairs... &&So on. But i showed some of my work to my cousin and all she could say was "Whats so good about some stairs". Well, really. NOTHING but you have to look behind the pictures, read between the lines. &That's what i think life as being, someting more than what you can see.

What makes you think it can't? It's easy to see how material "things" can't last forever, but what about consciousness/soul? It's isn't made "of" anything, it is purely "no thing", it can't rot, it can't be killed, it can't be destroyed by fire or flood. Therefore what's to stop it from going on forever? Even if our poor little human brains cannot comprehend what "forever" actually means?

Well, maybe it's a scam to limit our imagination. Fortunately it isn't the only means of communicating or expressing oneself. Hence the fact that you get so much from your photography.

Hi There,
I believe that a certain degree of science does intertwine with spirituality.
Scientists (currently) believe that all things, no matter how large or small, are made up of atoms. Atoms are, in general, just energy vibrating at different levels.
Working on the theory that energy can neither be created or destroyed, the energy we have in our body must go somewhere when the 'shell' dies.
I believe that this non physical side of ourselves (the energy) is our 'soul' and when our bodies die we then vibrate at a different level and are rejoined with the collective consciousness and / or those that we have physically lost.
I know that the colours that we see are (supposedly) due to the vibrational energy being within the visible spectrum and I feel that we have our favourite colours because of they way we individually vibrate, but I couldn’t say why these colours have been named the way they have and why these words were chosen?

Hmmm, well...We very well could be some type of self-replicating organic artificial intelligence....
Which would mean WHY.
Now, when you "MAKE" something, you make it to USE it, and/or enjoy it, or whatever kind of purpose it is made for....
Ok, so...I know this is controverstial, but, what if we are put here to be used??
Who BENEFITS from our lives and deaths?? Hmm?? Tell me!
If we were really "real", (and I do whole-heartedly feel real), would'nt we live forever??
Would'nt we be able to control that aspect of ourselves?
You do know that no matter what bollox someone talks, NO ONE wants to die....
Now, enter these reptilians we hear about.
Why is the theme of the bible based on "snakes" and "demons", which could pass for reptilians??
Why is the theme in the bible about opposites and are really two heads of the same coin?? As in opposames...
There are MANY unanswered questions, and I for one am not one to go along drone like going to church and just believing what everyone else believes.
That's one reason for my getting into esoteric/conspiracy research.
To try and figure it all out...
Alas, though, I think I've just brought more questions to the scene, rather than answers.
There is a believable explanation out there, it just has to be found. :D
