EXCLUSIVE - UFO in Wrexham

(UK Press Discovers UFOs - Coverage Growing)

A COUPLE were mesmerised as seven red lights flew silently and at great speed above their house in the early hours of the morning.

It was just after midnight when Leigh Williams, 31, went out to the back of his house on Townsend Avenue for a cigarette.

He said he saw some strange lights in the sky and ran inside to get his wife, Lynn, 32.

She said: "I thought he was taking the mick and I told him I was tired and to leave me alone. He said 'if you don't believe me look out there'.

There were seven lights flying fast over the house. Two of them were flying round each other. They were flying very close together, closer than planes. They were going so fast I couldn't focus on them.

"I ran inside and got my camcorder. I thought they could be helicopters but when I zoomed in I was scared to death. They were glowing red in the middle. I'm a very logical person. We are not into the paranormal at all. I thought people would think we were barmy if we said we saw UFOs."

Yes, this sounds like a prime time for skywatching. Let's hope the clouds stay away for a bit and we get some clear open skies.

DAILY MAIL:

Secret government 'X-Files' reveal 97 UFO sightings in Britain's skies last year

http://img31.picoodle.com/img/img31/9/8/7/f_ETGPX050880m_316257b.jpg

Details emerged after the MoD decided to publish witness reports of the unidentified objects seen in our skies – and occasionally in our gardens – following a large number of requests under the Freedom of Information Act.

The ministry's website shows that in 2006 alone there were 97 reported UFO sightings.

The alien peering through the kitchen window was spotted by a couple in Hastings. Another witness reported hearing a massive bang above Stamford Hill, North London, before two large fireballs streaked away.

Sunderland had a silver pyramid which rotated at low speed. And a 'mothership with two smaller orbs' flying above Barlaston in Staffordshire was spotted twice in five days.

And moving into 2007 unidentified flying objects have caught the attention of hundreds of stargazers in Stratford, lighting up the otherwise clear night sky above Shakespeare's birthplace two weeks ago. :)
