ive just watched this video and it got me thinking...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HnPN5-M4RVw

whatever you think of the guy, thats one really interesting idea. our western society is an intellectual society, so, naturally, the 'irrational' intuitive mind is going to be veeeery out of place here. in fact, it would be almost unable to function in line with it, and would be labelled as 'mad' and 'insane' by the intellectual robots that govern our society.

the intuitive mind has the power to transform this big brother society that were living in into a paradise, since it can percieve a much wider range of reality than the intellect can.

see, in tribal societies, the 'shamans' tend to be the center, or leader, of the tribe. but nowadays, we're supposedly so much more 'civilised' (despite the fact that we slaughter millions in insane wars, etc), so we dont have that 'center' anymore.

perhaps the illuminati have structured society like soviet russia, where people that pose the greatest threat are simply written off as 'mentally ill'. of course we arent at the stage of people being carted off to concentration camps yet, but give it 10 years...

'The intuitive mind is a sacred gift and the rational mind is a faithful servant. We have created a society that honors the servant and has forgotten the gift.' - Albert Einstein

also, consider how ALL hollywood horror movies are about the 'irrational', 'hidden' horrors of life, and NEVER about anything 'matter-of-fact' or any kind of 'intellectual' tyranny. sure, action films and thrillers are about that sometimes, but horror films are always about what you CANT see, or what is 'irrational' and unpredictable (at least from the intellects perspective).

or is that just coinicidence?

Totally. When people watch a horror film they watch it on two levels.

On the one level they see it throught the rational brain and justify it as entertainment.

What they don't know is that their subconscious right brain is also being subjected to the horror film. The subconscious, which is our doorway to the outer universe, is being given thought patterns and energy vibrations corresponding to the negative vibes of the movie.

People who watch horror movies often let the horror narrative inform their thoughts, dreams and fears.

It's obvious really. So called 'art' and entertainment has a lot to answer for. Brainwashing more like.

"Through madness my view is expanded/ Request passage permission is granted/ I'll introduce you to the language of dragons!" - Canibus

Albert Einstein was allegedly of the Schizotypal personality set - and I believe that his son was a full-blown schizophrenic - Go figure.

The fine line they talk about between genius and insanity is understandable when you consider the nature of this perceptional, holographic universe in which we live - David Wilcock has suggested that the visions that Shamans are witnessing when in a so-called enlightened, psychedelic state are in fact the same as those described by schizophrenics.

He suggests that this is something to do with the visions one may attribute to the Pineal Gland "leaking through" into waking hours - thus mixing objects and people in different dimensions with this one (and there a lot of nasty parallel realities out there!), so they see things that "aren't there". Same with many druggies.

Psychologists believe that a number of famous creative luminaries, including Vincent Van Gogh, Albert Einstein, Emily Dickinson and Isaac Newton, had schizotypal personalities.

"Thought processes for individuals with schizophrenia are often very disorganized, almost to the point where they can’t really be creative because they cannot get all of their thoughts coherent enough to do that," Folley observes.

"Schizotypes, on the other hand, are free from the severe, debilitating symptoms surrounding schizophrenia and also have an enhanced creative ability."

defo, that really interesting. i was reading Carl Jung's 'Man and His Symbols' a while ago and there is a section in there about the link between artists and schizophrenia. and thinking about it a lot of rock stars act very 'schizotypal'

thats probably why when i try explaining to people how computer games and films can be used to habitualise you and dumb you down, they just go 'oh, but its just a film' or 'its just pixels on a screen!'
