A few random disconnected facts snapped together in my head recently, so I thought I would post them. I am no expert, so I will just highlight the ideas that came together, and you guys can figure out what it means .

Lord of the Rings
-Evil lord corrupts the hearts of man's leaders by offering them power. Then seeks to use this corruption to bring the whole world under his control - a new one world order.

-Two towers - the masonic symbol of the two pillars.

-The great all-seeing-eye.

The Fifth Element
-Large burning planet-sized object headed to destroy earth. (nibiru lol)

-Evil planet defeated by using the five base elements: Earth, air, water, fire, and ILLUMINATION. This five-element theme was also displayed in the recent Illuminati based movie, Angels and Demons.

-Government has total electronic control over the people. Note how his license was revoked as an automated response to him breaking the law - which resulted in his flying car shutting down and crashing.
I was wrong about this, but his license WAS revoked remotely and electronically.

Just some random thoughts I had recently. What do you guys think?

EDIT: Removed false info

It's funny how sometimes they try to entertain people with "fiction" movies based on reality.

Hi ya inverselogic. Not critersizing, just adding.

With the LOTRings, The problem or thing with the book was that Frodo 'sensed' the Power of the dark lord (not Voldermort :D) and to portray this to the reader in a way that could be understood, the eye came into the equasion. But the point was it was 'feeling', like I am being watched or percived. On the shields, the orcs had eyes too. In the movie you cant portray a feeling so it was an eye on top of a tower LOL.

In the books also, the history of Sauron was given in more detail. If you read The Silmarilian it will nock your socks off. It starts with 'the word' only it is given as 'the song'. The whole point therefore of Middle Earth was that it was the final plan of the 'great god' The Eru (singular). It was He that put all other things into motion. It has paralels with the Bible in that like the bible, a bastard that wanted it all for himself (devil) like a fallen angle started to mess it all up for others. And was only ever defeated, if at all in.....NO SPOILERS :D Read the book.

In the movies the two towers were at Minas Tirith and Isengard. In the books it was Isengard and Minas Morgol.

In the Fifth Eliment, the taxi driver lost his licence to trade as a taxi driver. He hired his cab from a third party. The police tried to stall the taxi but was blocked by the driver so they had to use a grappling iron LOL. It did not crash however but was hit by a falling gal with a great liking for chicken.
Why I remember this I dont know!! I am gonna watch it tonight :D

tsk. "lord of the rings" was better known as a trilogy of books long before it was made into a trilogy of movies. such a shame that some people have no idea about its history.

The name of the movie is The Winged Serpent.

Not half. My fave book by Tolkien is Leaf by Niggle. Thats me in a nutshell.

I wished that they had not messed with the story as much as they did. But then again thats showbiz.

"Eyes Wide Shut" by Stanley Kubrick is the most symbolism-packed movie by far. Kubrick knew what was going on.

Here the movie is discussed on this forum:

Yeah my memory is not all too great. I just felt like sharing the random ideas that poped in my head wile showering this morning. I don't really know how well founded they are at all, which is why I made no assumptions/explanations about them. haha

I also forgot to add. The mountain over the mines of moria was "conquered" by powerful winds and lightning conjured up by saruman(soloman lulz). Almost a.... "Moria conquering wind"... Not too sure if I am just stretching things too far with this one, but... meh, at least I have an active imagination!

Damn, I forgot about that one "Conan The Barbarian" (1982)

Thulsa Doom (played by James Earl Jones) is a sorcerer who can summon
demons and who can shapeshift into a reptilian form:

I don't know if anyone else would admit to watching this.

If you do though, you must have noticed the blatant lingering shots of the snake on the front of KITT.

Look at the front of the car (2008) on the right, on the front bumper, this is the home page of the biggest Knight Rider fan site.

Here's a much clearer picture of it ...

reading the trilogy and the hobbit was, like for many back then, a rite of passage- along with many other books by differing authors. i would wager that for the majority of young people these days the only books they read are those they're "forced" to read, thanks to the school syllabus. instead of books being read for pleasure, that's been replaced with watching movies. it's pure laziness really. sure movies have their place as a means of entertainment and education, but the 3 books of the lord of the rings trilogy easily take way more than a month of on/off reading- something that just can't be condensed adequately into 3 movies totalling a little over 9 hours in length.

Yeah I'm a knight-rider fan and the reason it has a snake on the front is because it's a Cobra-Mustang. I used to own a Ford Cobra coupe that also had the cobra on the front. As much as I agree with a lot of stuff on here it can get a bit silly when people try to read symbolism into absolutley everything. On the other hand the 2008 series of Knight rider did highlight things such as Cell-phone GPS tracking, CIA torture interragation and a massive CCTV surveillance network. It was almost like watching 24 with a flash car! The original series of Knight rider was a lot better as it was about a group who helped protect victims of organised crime, govt. corruption, crooked cops and thugs. Sure it had David Hasslehoff in it but that's what helped make it such a classic cheesy 80's show!
