Well, it's the insights of a columnist, with some truth mixed in with a lot of vacuous rubbish, exactly like their British counterparts. I was commenting about the state of Pravda after flicking through a few of the other articles, go take a look for yourself.
Pravda (the word, ironically,means "truth") used to be a very solemn broadsheet, full of propaganda about bumper potato crop yields and the decadence of the West. It wasn't averse to telling outright whoppers either and very few Russians, even loyal Party members, believed it.
But this is just downmarket trash that would sit very comfortably among British tabloids on a newsstand.
