View Full Version : A few words of wisdom from David Icke!

In view of all the recent debates about censorship, especially of swearing, I thought it might be the time to hear a few words of wisdom on the subject from the main man himself.

The following is from "I am me, I am free"! Pages 124, 125 and 126.

I said the “F” word? Oh you mean fuck? Yes, that’s right. I did so? Its funny that the same people who do not get offended by American warplanes bombing the crap out of people in the Middle East, Vietnam, and elsewhere, killing children by the score, will be breathless in their indignation when someone says the word “fuck”. The end of the world is not ushered in by warplanes and atomic bombs, but by people saying “fuck”. “The moral fibre of society is crumbling. Bring back hanging and conscription, that’ll sort it. Put ‘em in the army, make bomber pilots of them.” What a hoot it is, all this plastic moral hypocrisy. You have “news”papers selling themselves using women and sexual titillation and that’s OK, it seems. But when the word fuck comes into the story, it is always written as “f***” because this is a family newspaper as you can see by the lady showing her tits on the inside page. What’s with this f*** business? When you see f***, what word goes through your mind? Fuck, exactly. So what’s the difference? Ah, I get it now. It’s fine to think the word fuck, but not to say it or write it in full. Gotcha. F*** that. See, its easy.

Give me strength.

I was thinking: what if the slang word for sexual intercourse had turned out to be something else? It could quite easily have been so. We call two pieces of bread placed together a sandwich because a guy called sandwich was supposed to have “invented” them. What if his name had been Willie? Or Sidebottom? We’d now be eating Willies or Sidebottoms. Its just a word, a sound. What if the slang for sexual intercourse had been, by a quirk of fate, sandwich? And what if the word for two pieces of bread placed together had turned out to be fuck? Today if you go into a sandwich bar and ask for a cheese and tomato sandwich no-one turns a hair. But if you ask for a fucking sandwich, everyone is mortally offended. Imagine if the words were the other way round, as could quite possibly have happened. You would then go into a fucking bar and ask for a cheese and tomato fuck. No one would turn a hair. But if you asked for a sandwiching fuck, everyone would be mortally offended.

My GOD! Did you hear what he just said?
You know…ssss…the”S” word.
Disgusting! Outrageous! What an awful man!

I’ve got a great idea. Let’s grow up shall we?

I’m not advocating that everyone goes around using the word fuck or any other just for the sake of it. I actually think the word is a travesty of the true experience of sexual union, which at its peak, with the right person at the right time, is for me, the ultimate experience in this time space reality. But it is also a very expressive word which conveys brilliantly your state of mind when you drop a hammer on your foot, or the car won’t start, or the events of the day have wound you up. A few more “fucks” and tears and a few less stiff lips and a lot of people would occupy their bodies for a great deal longer. The overall point I am making here, however is that if you are offended at anything and have your emotions stressed as a result, it is you who have chosen to be offended. It’s a thought form, a state of mind, which you are in control of. People constantly get offended by things that don’t matter.

Your comments would be most welcome. :)

That's not the point and surely you know it..

When they're not swearing with you but swearing at you... it becomes something that noone in their right mind would encourage in any public forum..

Why defend people's rights to be horrible to each other... I and many others are here because we're sick of people being horrible to eachother...

Why would you want people to be allowed to call other people c's and f's..

Would we have a happy forum?... perhaps for tourettes sufferers but they're hardly a majority...

OK, so who has watched "secrets of the matrix" ?
Or any other of his dvd presentations?
If you have, you will notice that David HARDLY EVER SWEARS during his presentations.
David knows full well, like most of us here do, that swear words are just words, it is us who choose to give power to their effect.
BUT..NOT ALL people are aware of this....
Even David must know this....if he was to swear throughout his presentations, books and to people in his daily life, how would that come across to people? UNPROFESSIONAL !
It doesn't matter that we know they are just words, you have to consider the overall picture.
And the overall picture is:-
"we have been conditioned into thinking and believing that swearing presents an offensive and unprofessional picture to people, some people think it is childsih and un-called for...even though most people on here are aware that they are ONLY WORDS, it doesn't take away the conditioning that most people still suffer from, especially some of the 'older people' in society"
It's about respecting the general opinion of the public, and that opinion is: "swearing isn't called for unless absolutely necessary"..even though we know otherwise.

Good point.. the original problem here was posters swearing at other people.

I know it's a bit 'PC' but this does constitute verbal assualt...

Who wants to be called and effing c?
Not me!

Swearing within context to your converation is absolutely fine. Swearing towards somebody is the same as attacking or insulting them. That's isn't acceptable behavior.

Spamming the board with random swear words isn't acceptable either. It's not the words any of us have a problem with.

I agree with David about cursing, and how pathedic it can be when you boil down to who is being hypocritical. But also when it would be ok to curse.
You know, "just don't curse for the sake of cursing".

However, what goes through my mind, are two different questions.

1: Where did these "curse words" derive from?

2: What kind of dirty-minded person can reagrd some words being "curse words"?

With my second question, I'll explain myself more clearly.

When language was first made/spoken/though up/ ect ect.., who sits there, and says that a word is a foul word, and shouldn't be spoken infront of people?

I remember when I was young, I saw a cartoon where these two kids made up a word to say when they were angery about something, so that they didn't have to curse. A teacher heard the word, and tryed to have them suspended for using a "curse word". However, when brought to court(it was a cartoon, ok :P hehehe) the judge ruled that the kids didn't have to be suspended, and that anyone thinking that the word they used was a dirty word, had a dirty mind for thinking such a thing.

So that's what I mean. Who actually sat there to and claimed and decided, that these words were offensive?

Could I just make one observation and comment about people with Tourette's Syndrome? It is only the minority who use swear words, which in this case would be called "glossolalia".

I agree 100% with Icke's point I originally posted. What I am questioning is whether the way this forum is moderated reflects the views David has expressed. What David is actually saying here is that swear words are just that, words, and the only power they have is the power we give them. That we not dictate other peoples behaviour and should take responsibility for ourselves, for when we do, other peoples behaviour cannot affect us. It seems to me that by dictating the behaviour of people on this forum, the moderators are preventing people from taking responsiblity for their own lives and making thier own mistakes. Does this reflect the ideal's of David Icke?

The moderators blame certain members of this forum or "Trolls" as they are labelled for causing mayhem on here, but isn't this just a convenient way to absolve responsibility for the reactions they provoke which, when you think about it, is really what causes the disharmony on here. If someone insults you remember the title of the very chapter I obtained the original Icke quote from: "it's a piece of shit, walk away". But I don't want to take responsibility for myself, so I will just get the moderators to do it for me, and this is why such heavy moderation cannot work if you are wanting your forum members to grow as human beings, because in order to grow, you have to make mistakes, and how can you do that, if the moderators won't let you.

How people can be alarmed by swear words in this day and age is pathetic...especially on a silly (i don't mean this place:D ) forum.

I don't think anybody objects to a few silly swear words dotted here and there, but I think there are those who have little to say of any relevance and would likely us swearing and spamming the threads as their main means of communication given half a chance. It is my understanding that its the way the swearing is delivered (being straight out abusive, nasty or disruptive) that gets people points off.

I used the word "bugger" in one of my post and got a "friendly warning" with no points off from one of the mods, but I understand it was the way I used the word that offended (when I reread it did look a bit aggressive) rather than the word itself, so I took the warning in the manner it was intended.
I guess the challenge is to find more constructive words to relay what we're trying to say.

Words are an expression of intent, if your intent is to insult or bully then your choice of words is irrelevant.

I think Sean summed it up fairly well, words in and of them self are not offensive as they are only a combination of letters on a screen, it is the intent behind them that is the problem..

Edit:Although swearing for the sake of profanity does show laziness and a lack of basic knowledge of English, but it can be a good tool if used correctly to effectively hammer a point..

I know where the word "fuck" comes from. It's a British legal term for carnal knowledge. as for the others, who knows

jimijams
11-02-2007, 07:46 AM
Variant #1

In ancient England a person could not have sex unless you had consent of the King (unless you were in the Royal Family). When anyone wanted to have a baby, they got consent of the King, the King gave them a placard that they hung on their door while they were having sex. The placard had F.*.*.*. (Fornication Under Consent of the King) on it. Now you know where that came from.

Variant #2

The word fuck comes from colonial times, when someone would be punished for 'prostitution' It was an acronym for the words

'For Unlawful Carnal Knowledge'

FUCK was written on the stocks that held these criminals because For Unlawful Carnal Knowledge was too long to go on the stocks.

Variant #3

I always heard that "F.U.C.K." originated in the 1800's in London, when they used to charge prostitutes "For Unlawful Carnal Knowledge". So officer got sick and tired of writing those, um, lessee, 26 characters, not including spaces, so it got abbreviated FUCK and stuck.

Having consulted the definitive reference work on this subject (yes, there is such a thing: "The F-Word" by Jesse Sheidlower, published by Random House in 1999), we feel confident in dismissing the above claims as imaginative bunk.

The word fuck did not originate as an acronym. It crept, fully formed, into the English language from Dutch or Low German around the 15th century (it's impossible to say precisely when because so little documentary evidence exists, probably due to the fact that the word was so taboo throughout its early history that people were afraid to write it down). The American Heritage Dictionary says its first known occurrence in English literature was in the satirical poem "Flen, Flyss" (c.1500), where it was not only disguised as a Latin word but encrypted — gxddbov — which has been deciphered as fuccant, pseudo-Latin for "they fuck."

hm.. yes.. but why should other people who have thought about things and broken from their conditioning, why should they have to exclude words which may offend people still stuck in their first conditioned state?

how about 1) trying to uncondition ... 2) forget labels of a  'swear' word .... 3) everyone just be nice ...

i personally have broken from conditioning yet dont usually use the considerd 'swear' words .. but i dont see why anyone should have to exclude them if they didnt want to as long as they are being nice and just using them as an adjectivy word

'swearing' isnt bad ... being mean<- that's what's mean

There's only one problem I have with your version. When I was 16, my History teacher showed us a copy of a newspaper he found in London dated to the time of the Bubonic Plague in London 1665–1666. Within those pages are the charge sheets of the day and guess what the prostitutes were being charged with......... yes you guessed it, fuck

I hope it will become clear that using this "street slang" lowers one's vibratory rates and keeps one in the Matrix.

These words were purposely invented to be profane and obscene, to degrade and demoralize the human condition. DI seems to be trying to make some kind of point in his book, but he doesn't carry it on in his normal conversations. I have never heard him use it in his radio interviews. Why would that be if he wanted to defend it?

He asks if consciousness would be offended by the "f" word. I can only say that my own is.

I want to add few reflexions on the real intentions hidden behind each clan. It is important to wonder which is the agenda they push behind the spiritual figure they promote.

I am not able to buy the concept of God.WHY? Because this concept serves the NWO.
The concept implies that some are waked up and others are not. It is partially true and false.

What means awake for you?

Does that mean that you know the significance of masonic's symbols ?

Or the one awake can see through the heart of people? He is doing soul reading!

Is the one awake , someone ,who can truly love?

For myself, God, is LOVE. Not more than that.
The concept has nothing to do with knowledges.

Why do you want to promote this concept then?

Why do you spam this forum with rational knowledge?
