A big thank you, to each and everyone of you, for your kind thought's.

She is a beautiful little babe and so small with a head of hair already:eek::) She is doing very well. So is Mrs Boots who has spun the doc's out as she is in no pain at all, well very little, she will be coming home tomorrow, which is absolutely great, in the mean time it's back to being Mr Mum for the day and night ( I have 8 year old to look after:)) God, it's hard being a mum:o:)

** I was also concerned about picking up such a fragile thing as a newborn, but I was there for the birth (of all 3) and I cut the umbilical each time.

I did get back ache carrying my first child because I leaning backwards to avoid dropping her... :p

But by the time our 3rd child came to down to visit us, I was carrying him in one hand and holding a book in the other... :D

Practice makes perfect!

** Someone mentioned babies / children in the soul mates thread.

I love my children more than I ever thought possible and I feel closer to them than anyone I've ever known. They're still very young, each with strong characters, but I've seen many examples of much older kids who are very close to their parents, and not in a clingy way... but in a deep, deep loving way.
