I looked for something on the topic, but could not find it in the forum. Apologies in advance if it has been covered before and evaded me.
So I'm thinking that building an underground home would be a good alternative to a conventional one. I'm almost sold by the advantages mentioned on The Fifty Dollar and Up Underground House Book (http://www.amazon.com/Fifty-Dollar-Underground-House-Book/dp/0442273118/ref=pd_sim_b_1), but before I order the book, or get overly enthusiastic about the concept (without weighing in the disadvantages,) I figured I should ask if anybody here has any experience with underground home construction.
If you don't, but know of places where extensive discussion and information about it can be found, I'd be very thankful for any forthcoming links too.
