It looks like Goncalo Amaral will get his wish to see the McCanns in court, according to todays Sunday Mirror the McCanns are sueing Goncalo for the One Million pounds profit he has made from his book, the case will go to trial in Lisbon next summer and Mr Amaral has the power to force the McCanns to take the stand, the McCanns insist any money awarded to them will go straight into the fund to help find their daughter.

The McCanns want a gagging order to prevent further publication of Mr Amaral's "deeply offensive" book The Truth of the Lie.

They also aim to block broadcast of his TV documentary and publication of his "disgraceful thesis" that they were involved in their daughter's disappearance.

I.e. The McScams want to gagg anyone with the truth so they dont get caught and block anyone else who knows the truth.

what i dont get is there are maybe 100s of people on this forum who think the Mcscams are guilty of at LEAST negligence, so why arent they trying to sue us...isnt a forum as public as you can get as it reaches every corner of the globe??

True but the irony is that i cant see anything more irresponsible as leaving 3 children in a hotel room with the door unlocked whilst they go out on the piss most parents would have their children taken away for much less. the truth will out
