This may seem a bit off the wall.

I have'nt been on the electoral register for years,so of course have not voted.

But with the euro elections coming up i thought i might register to vote.

Looking at the form it states "we need your signiture for security purposes"

Doe's anyone think that by filling in this form and signing it, we could be giving

the goverment the consent they desire to give statutes and acts the force of law.unknowingly by registration.

I hope this comes across as i meant it too and makes sense.

What security?
Whose security?
Security from what?

But then again, they have not lied.
They do need your signature for security ... to be used as security for more credit from the bankers.

Thank you both, sometimes i feel so paranoid that i think i'm going crazy.

I was'nt happy about signing and told the lady so.

I've only voted twice in my life when i was young and did'nt know any better.

I made the decision not to,by voting for them i allowed them to take away

my freedoms by stealth.

I won't be governed by them,i'm free as i can be anyway.

I want to crush the EU as much as anyone else, but i'm not prepared to sign anything to help make that happen.

I could of laid down my charges for my sig,i did tell her it would cost them i don't give it freely:D.

I did'nt ask what the security purposes were,i was taken aback to be honest
and the gut instinct kicked in.

Not one act or statute they have brought in has enriched my life quite the opposite in fact.

i'll just keep on rebelling,lawfully of course:D

i don't vote either, i don't pay the council tax and i dont use their services. I don't agree, like most here, at the pl=olicy the ruling factions rule with and so deny giving any of them my seal of approval in voting.

it is kinda self efacing in one extreme, because if we want to change the system, by its own default we would need to register the need for change by voting for change. But when we understand that the guy wearing the red tie stands for the same equality as the guy in the blue tie, and the guy in the yellow tie: what is the point.

i don't know how you'd stand tho, turning up at the balot station and saying that your sig is the property of your Self and is not something that you can give and nor does common law require you to give it in order to enter into what is every man and womans inailiable right to vote for a representative, i don't know how far that would get you, and whether it would even be worth having a go with.

Might be worth a laugh if we turned up at the polling station and asked that very question.

Exactly my point where in common law do'es it state that our sig or anything else about our person is needed to be able to vote.

The whole system is a scam, looks like i won't be voting afterall.
