The telly is on, and just a minute ago I heard one of the presenters of ITV's 'PropertyWatch' say...

''Buying property has now become the new crack for the middle classes''.

I reckon that stands for telly's 'twattish remark of the week''. ;)Unless you know better of course...

I remember my mrs used to watch a reality TV show about hairdressing....no, not "the salon", it was a show where some people had learn how to cut and style someones hair and then dress them accordingly. The host ...trying to big the show up....said "There realy isnt anything worse than cutting someones hair in front of an audience....there really isnt"

You fuckin what !!!!!!! nothing worse????? , I thought at the time.

Twattish, yes. Sadly true also. The housing market is saturated at the moment, and if you can afford to buy a house, it is a good time to do it - provided you have the cash/can get the mortgage etc etc.

That said, the cuts in interest rates knocked 250 quid of my mortgage which had been at fixed for the last 5 years, so I'm looking at getting a 2nd house shortly.

Top thread! Yeah, that's got to be the most twattyish remark of the week, for sure. I'm going to keep my ears peeled now for something on par or worse. Hardly watched my TV lately though (which is good, I think!). :)
