I used to be addcited to the Whale's show
that was before I had Internet. His programme is the only show on mainstream radio I know that has controversial, alternative guest interviews.

I normally listen to James Whale anyway so don't mind waiting an hour for Alex Jones. Do you listen to Jon Gaunt in the mornings and what do you think of him? I think he's a bit of a prick at times but I also think that of James Whale and George Galloway. They all have opinions I agree with but I also find each one offensive. I'd like to chop up and re arrange their brains to create a better presenter, do you know what I mean? :D

i distinctly remember listening to his show years ago, where he slated david icke for being crazy!! im so glad hes come around to seeing some sense, it is an excellent show. i remember a guy in manchester called (god i forget his name) but he too was very controversial and was taken off the air to be replaced with some others that prefer to talk about manchester city fc...hmmmm. ahhh james stannage was his name!!!

Talksport used to be regular talk radio, I used to listen to it all the time then Talksport took over and brought in all this sports rubbish and totally ruined it. I wish they would drop the sport and have 24 hour talk shows instead. These shows are still too politically correct for my tastes but then what else have we got? Nothing.

lmao Stanage taken off the air no way! He used to make me laugh at times, but also could be a right ass. I think it's an act these presenters put on to get people listening and wound up so they'll call the show. Wow used to be some momentous rants on the Stannage show.

Shame they always seem to replace these controversial presenters with robotic clones, maybe they get two for the price of one.

I remember Talk radio before they got obsessed with sport and changed the name to Talk sport! when it first started years ago. They would have more time and more callers, more dialogue, more debate it was much more entertaining and informative.

It all went down hill from there, too many adverts ( the worst adverts ever on radio) I had to turn it off or the volume down when the ads came on.

Yeah man! I actually spoke with him a couple of times too on the show. And you're right, he really did get too close and i'm sure that was the real reason he was sacked.

Down side is the show's on until 2AM you have to wait until midnight before the guests come on air. Whale should be prime time viewing, but that's not going to happen. Warning Talk radio can be addicitive and piss off anyone who lives with you.
