In Glasgow, four-year-old Cameron has lived his whole life with vivid memories of a previous life as a boy on the remote island of Barra.

I wasn't surprised to see Chris French there. However when I looked at his sleeve I could see that he'd forgotten to put on his MBA (Materialist Bravery Award) medal. I must have a word with the Channel 4 wardrobe department! :D

Although I don't believe in "past lives", when my daughter was a baby, she started speaking in a language other than English. I did'nt know what it was, sounded like something African. Thought she was just making it up. It was interesting though. The words did'nt change and she would argue with me over what things were called, adamant her words were the correct ones.

When she was about 15, she did a search on the intenet based on the words we remembered she used to speak as a child. Turned out the words matched the Somalian language of east africa. I still don't beleive in past lives, but clearly something was going on.

there is a world famous story about a chinese woman went to see a hypontherapist because she couldnt swallow tablets etc.. the therapy was conducted with the help of an interpretor. after some searching the therapist could not find the cause of her problem. so have gave the suggestion in hypnosis..ok, go back to where it all started. SHE STARTED TO SPEAK IN ENGLISH!!! It seems she was a british soldier hundreds of years ago who died by being stabbed in the neck. i heard this on coast to coast am (george noory) and the hypnotherapist should you need to hear yourself was Dr. brian weiss. the interview was around september 2003. and is still there in the archives. WOW!!!

can i ask. were any of these children c-sections? did they avoid the light on birth, if at all can they remember that?

My daughter was not a c-section. She not only began speaking in Somalian, she also had vivid dreams about WW2 before she was even old enough to know about it. As a child, I also spoke foreign languages in my sleep. I was not a c-section either. I will hit that link too though, it does sound interesting.

wow. Im not saying entierly or even fractionally that c-section kids are different in a paranormal sense. but others maybe i am im suggesting that a little to much.

more i was aiming to have that thread were we could find out about the differences in life from c-sections to natural birth, someone soon will reply with a 3rd way of being BIRTHED. for there is always a 3rd.

now i am english but i speak a little german and even less japanese but i dont speak in any of these while im asleep, i can hold full conversations including laughter, shouting, whispering etc in what apparently sounds like egyptian, very strange indeed

Ive been hearing stories of people who go into comas and when they wake up they can speak another language fluently.

Khurja (Uttar Pradesh), July 07: A four-year-old girl who claims her name is Kalpana Chawla and that she died up in the skies four years ago is drawing huge crowds in a village here in Uttar Pradesh.

Residents of Nar Mohammadpur village, about 35 km from here, where little Upasana is visiting her relatives, think she might be the reincarnation of the India born astronaut Kalpana Chawla, who died when US space shuttle Columbia crashed four years ago.

The news of the girl`s claim spread quickly in the area after she spoke to some villagers here.

`I am Kalpana Chawla,` says Upasana, who reportedly fears the sight an aircraft. She has been telling her illiterate parents that she died in a `crash` up in the skies.

`Upasana has been telling us ever since she started speaking that her name was Kalpana Chawla and that her father`s name was Banarsi Das Chawla but we could not figure out anything as we had never heard of Kalpana,` Upasana`s father Raj Kumar told reporters Friday.

Raj Kumar is a resident of Pata village of Etawah district where he works as a labourer.

`Yet Upasana`s proclamation led us all to believe that she was actually talking about her previous birth,` he said. `She claims that the spacecraft was hit by a huge ball of ice that sent it crashing and ended her life.`

Upasana was born barely two months after the astronaut`s death in 2003.

What an interesting documentary! I wish there had been a bit more research into the Robertson Family though. It was freaky that he knew the details of the house and the dog and the gate to the beach. His reaction to the house got me really upset actually, you could nearly feel his emotions it was quite disturbing.

That's very interesting. Indian culture is much more inclined to take reincarnation seriously so cases like this are far more common.

Did enyone else get the feeling that the woman relative that thay traced didnt want to say anything. I think the boys information was just to acurate for him not to be right. Maybe somthing happend that she didnt want enyone to know?

Its a shame it didnt give more information about what he was doing before he "fell through".

This is a deep and fascinating subject. Stories of past-life memories often contain inconsistancies, which is the case with Cameron, but they paradoxically contain too many consistancies to support the fantasy or coincidence explanation. My guess is that there is some kind of dimension shift involved. vcameron may well have lived on Barra, but it may have been a Barra from a parallel dimension which is almost the same, but slightly different.

There was a very famous case of an American woman who claimed past life memories of being a woman in Ireland 100 years earlier. the researchers discovered that some of the the details were very accurate and could only have been made so with years of research in the town in Ireland where she claimed to have lived in the life before, poring through birth registers and library archives etc. But the woman's account contained innnacuracies that the same amount of research could have prevented. If the woman was faking it, then she must have been deliberately faking the innaccuracies too! Why?

I like your sig, Synery777. I get the distinct impression that Winston Churchill knew a hell of a lot more about what's really going down than most other prime minsters.

He is buried in a town near where I live and his grave is very strange. it faces the opposite direction to all the other graves and it has a seven-pointed star beside it.

Churchill was a keen Spiritualist and he suffered from depression nearly all his life. He said that he was standing on the deck of a ship at sea once and had to fight the urge to throw himself overboard.
