My sister's school are really into the whole green thing, like I used to be.
I had my Walkman and Kodak USBs still in the computer last night, not attached to anything else, just idle.
She told me to take them out, and was quite adamant, because I was "wasting electricity".
Ugh, but I think that she is far from being an eco-Nazi, thankfully. I hope she was telling me to take them out to save money, not to prevent "global warming"...

We do have to stop wasting energy (for obvious reasons) as you know cafetimes1991, but it's just a real shame that the PTB have hijacked the idea of protecting the enviroment, and they are using it to forward their agenda, so if anyone disagrees with the SO CALLED "climate change", then the PTB will say that we are bad guys cos we dont care about the enviroment. It's hard to put it down in a short post like this, and when trying to explain it to people like your sister, we have to go into quite a bit of detail of the psychology behind it. It's a big subject cos it connects with alot of other dots.

I've already gotten in trouble with the library before for various anti-NWO activities, but I think I'll put a big address label sticker, on the page where the global warming guilt-tripping begins, saying:

Fair trade isn't such a good thing, i'm no expert mind you, so some help on here would be useful!

It forces countries to rely on each other for trade so they cant be self sufficient anymore, another way to strip away sovereignty.

It allows for indian call centres and jobs to be taken from this country and sent elsewhere.

It allows sweat shops for products to be produced on the cheap on chine, child slave labour, for a pittence, only to be sent back over here and sold for massive profit.

I think thats right! It happens anyway, but i think its due to that mate.

But really, are the two all that different...part of fair trade is still about utilising marginalised labour to produce goods and services, to be exported abroad.

Its just that we have to be a bit nicer to them to make sure they are sustainable and can keep on cranking out the cheap stuff, so that the corporates can keep on buying it and make a killing by adding margin and selling it to us.
