Thanks, but I still don't understand. The posters seem to be going on about "Balneum" this and "sandbath" that....

Can any heater and bottle formulate a Balneo Mary bath? I just wonder if someone could explain the basic concept to me.

That and a "sandbath"... If I fill my bath with sand, is that a sandbath?

instead of running out to by flasks and bunsen burners... might i suggest meditating on the idea of the holy eucharist, and pondering the possibility that this ritual may have been watered down or made vague over time... but that in its true essence it is sublime, simple, and in the capacity of all to do without any special instruments. maybe study ayurveda as you think about this?

+1. True alchemy is internal and the external references are usualy metaphors and also red herrings to mislead people.
