civilizations rise and fall
ours is the one that will either walk towards the light this time, or fall once again
what is your take. are we gonna make it this time or not?

If we mean the people of the world, united in our diversity, then its:
Oh yeah, we are going to make it, absolutely!:
Becuase its the only way we can survive the awesome power of our technology: otherwise its back to the stone age
But if we mean abstract concepts like nations, boundaries, systems, laws, power structures, governments, corporations and the like:
Then its all bets are off and all to play for

i put maybe as it depends on many people who at the moment seem quite satisfied with sinking in the ship.... it all comes down to when they want to start swiming....
