We know who owns the country.

But it's time for you to pick up a mirror and ask yourself - honestly - who owns you?

Is it your employer?

Is it your government?

Is it your family?

Is it your ego?

Who or what makes you jump the highest and the farthest?

Who or what would you fight and die for?

Who is your god?

And what does he demand of you?

watch here on who owns you!

I used to think I owned myself. But if I owned myself I would be free to do as I please with this body but I am not. Check out just for example suicide and euthanasia. I can’t kill myself or ask someone else to help me die. Why? Because it seems I do not belong to me. So when you discover who owns us let me know, I would like to have a word with him or her or it.

I have a friend who runs a meditation center ,and other things in it ,sends me lots of mails that at the end say:

"Whoever possesses your time , possesses your mind"

Maybe we all talk to that somebody in our creative work.

We know who owns the country.

But it's time for you to pick up a mirror and ask yourself - honestly - who owns you? I AM ME I AM FREE.

Is it your employer? I don't work.

Is it your government? I don't vote.

Is it your family? They have no control over me.

Is it your ego? I control the ego.

Who or what makes you jump the highest and the farthest? My choice.

Who or what would you fight and die for? Nothing and no one. I would defend though.

Who is your god? LOVE/ALL THAT IS.

And what does he demand of you? Nothing.

I'll have a go.....

Who Owns You?

Q. Is it your employer?
A. Don't have one.

Q. Is it your government?
A. They feed, clothe and house me so perhaps they do to a certain extent. Personally I don't care. I was the wife of a soldier for twenty years. We were used. I have no qualms about taking money from my government.

Q. Is it your family?
A. No. I was an abused child and brought my own family up to take care of themselves, not to lean on or depend on anyone for anything.

Q. Is it your ego?
A. No. Ego used to be my enemy but we understand each other a lot better today and get along just fine.

Q. Who or what makes you jump the highest and the farthest?
A. No one, not even me.

Q. Who or what would you fight and die for?
A. Myself. I am my own worst enemy sometimes.

Q. Who is your god?
A. I am my own god.

Q. And what does he demand of you?
A. Nothing. I simply want to be all than I am.

The ego is not a bad thing like some people think. It's like a wayward child, wanting everything and wanting it now! You can discipline it. Simply learn to say No to it occasionally.

One way to feel in control is to seek out the balance in your life. You are complete just as you are. We do not need others to complete us. Accept yourself as you are and instead of struggling to be all that you can be....... Be all that you are.

Sorry. I read all sorts of stuff on this. Hope it helps.

NOTE: I thought I would answer this verbatim, hah. FOR FUNSIES!

But it's time for you to pick up a mirror and ask yourself - honestly - who owns you?

Is it your employer? I am self-employed. I am freelance writer and illustrator, and the money in which I receive is not taxed.

Is it your government? The government does not own me, because I realize I am susceptible to it. Realizing this is the first step, and I seek to spread the word to other people.

Is it your family? My family, thankfully, and due to my own efforts in part, has become a wonderful mutual organism.

Is it your ego? I have no ego. It is not I that matters, but everyone else around me. No one is seperate from myself, no one is higher, nor lower than myself and vice versa.

Who or what makes you jump the highest and the farthest? Myself.

Who or what would you fight and die for? I would fight and die for the freedom that the founding fathers of America fought and died for: The representative democracy, not the democracy. I would fight for the people around me, and I would indeed die for only a stranger.

Who is your god? My god is myself, the knowledge that is present within myself, for "god" is nothing more than the energy surrounding me, and the reaction between the energy around me, and the energy in which I exude.

And what does he demand of you? Love is what this "god" demands of me, it is a demand that is an obligation for all living beings on the earth, and elswhere, that our energy be positive and overwhelming enough in love to further promote growth in the earth, and abstain from pain, hatred, and self-love.

I admire your humility. Not only that, but your answer to "ego". I answered alternatively in mine, because I didn't want to go into the specifics. But you seem to have a grasp on what "ego" really is. It is a mutual partner, not to be taken control of, and not to be allowed to take control.

In order to this, people must first admit to themselves their "dark' desires, so to speak. But also, simply realize that these "dark" desires, are just fine. Actually take pride in this because it makes you who you are. Simply recognizing these things is what counts.

Also, there is a common missconception with what humility really is. It is not the absence of ego. On the contrary, humility is knowing who you are, and what you are capable of, and that you deserve these capabilities. Yet, at the same time, one must remember that he or she is not the end all be all, that he or she is never 100% right, that he or she is part of a large organism, and in turn, that that organism is simply contained within a splotch in the universe, and that everyone else, in their own way, will always be somewhat right, and somewhat wrong.

To come to grips with ego, and to dwell in humility, is to first realize that you don't know anything, which is the loftiest form of knowledge since it does not personify the person, but instead lowers the person. Then, one must say "I am able! I am strong! I am purposeful! Yet, I am weak, I am vulnerable, I am self-consumed, and I am not completely right" once this wonderful aspect is realized, people can become one with their egos. And take pride in their fallicies, and their strength. For it is always ALWAYS a strength to admit weakness, yet not let that weakness consume you. And, a lot of the time, that weakness should not be changed or worked on, for it is important.
