Can anyone else send a shiver down their spine on command? I never used to be able to but I developed it when ill once. I've been into the old mind/spirtuality thing all my life but also class myself as a bit of a realist and so always have a skeptical side.
It does feel like a surge of energy and my body seems to go into a sort of rigid-ish position but its quite a nice feeling. It doesn't seem to extend to my legs but my whole upper torso feels like "someone walked over my grave" but in a good way. I developed it after laying in baths meditating 10 years ago when I had a bad illness but recently its getting more and more frequent and I can do it easily.
Any thoughts? Or do I just need a holiday? :D
Peace
Hi freeple,
This made me think of kundalini energy:
http://www.abc-of-yoga.com/styles-of-yoga/kundalini-yoga.asp
(the tickling sensations down your spine)
(if you work with that, be careful with it though :) I'm very aware of the chi in my body but I've never done kundalini,
especialy now since I read something about it in a mind-control-article)

Does it originate in the Cerebellum and end at the Sacrum? I've felt pulsations of energy go from there to there before. It's part of the awakening of Kundalini.

Hi peeps, nice to talk to you,
I dont think its similar to that one, i'll elaborate a bit:
At the top of my spine, near where you've got the bit that sticks out, is where it starts out. I can keep it there but it seems to build up then shoot down my body. The main parts it affects are the top half of my spine (never lower), my shoulder blades/upper back, then down to my arms. My front upper torso a bit but never my stomach or legs. It seems to push my shoulder blades round and arms together, almost as if I want to clap, or throw a rugby pass!!???
I've had life long illnesses for 10 years now and that is why I developed it, stomach problems. The only thing is, it never seems to travel around that area at all?? It definately works when im ill though.
In all honesty I dont believe in any teachings at all, I think that each could be interpretated in so many ways that none/all are true. I dont believe in physchic ability yet I cant explain why me and my mum phone the other when we really need to but one cant, or why I can tell if someone has a problem, even if ive never met them before. When they look at me in a funny way as in to say WTF? I merely say its because im observant. But if you dont think, you feel more I find?
Some things cant be explained but I would like spirtualists to give me their take on it all? Love these conversations!
One love

Just a note to say thanks for the link, nice read. Some parts seem similar but (and please dont think im slagging anything off, I am not), I find it hard to believe in anything at all if I dont experience it for myself, so im still a little skeptical with teachings.
No disrespect meant, its just that I hardly see myself as enlightened or on that path, more that its (life's) un-true and there is something I cant put my finger on. Maybe I just need a Guru though (hence why im talking to u guys).
