Anyone remember when you were a kid and the doors were left unlocked when you went out and windows use to be left open, without problems?? I remember this when I was growing up in NZ in the 60's and 70's..those were the days alright...no f*****g coppers going around with megaphones and entering your house WITHOUT PERMISSION...

I am thinking that if anyone, cop or otherwise, were to stand in my doorway and after I 'barked' at them to leave, then I would smash them in the face (only if it were a cop*) with a bit of 2x3 that I have at hand by the door due to shelves that have yet to be compleited. They are tresspassing. A crime has not been commited and they are not there to see if I am up to no good are they?

Tresspass is a crime if they dont comply. Ignorance of the 'law' is no defence.

my understanding is they can only enter a property without permission if they have suspicion or reasonable doubt that there is a crime taking place or life is threatened (or they have a court order), if the above is not applicable then they are trespassing and possibly breaking and entering. As for the above cops shouting throught megaphones thats causing a nusience or disturbing the peace?? i dunt know but there always having ago at me when ive got my music on in my car too loud (not all the time some songs are too gud to play quietly!)- wankers.

Our Nazi Government changed the law to give the police the powers to search the premises of any one who they arrest, so thanks to Labour all the pigs have to do is invent a suspicion of a crime, which effectively has given them the power to search any premises in the UK without a warrant.

Exacly whitenight. You can tell them to leave. I am sure that they wont, so you force them out quite lawfully. You can also tell them to get out of your driveway as far as the gate posts too. I am sure that they would protest, but so would a 'villan' of other sorts.
