Plz.
I had some interesting dreams last night. Very vivid. I wish I could fully recall all of them, but that never happens.
The first dream I was in a weird field. In this dream I was a woman. Perhaps it was a past-life memory? Or perhaps it was just a dream and I was trying on a different body. Who knows. I wasn't myself when I was this woman, I was her. Her husband was there as well, and we were in a large field. The field looked kind of old and dead, the green grass was actually yellowish and old and kind of looked like dead hay. I saw a brown Scottish terrier running around in the field and I ran after it. If I remember correctly, I was trying to save it or something. As I ran after it, my husband started running after me and I was terrified. I knew he was going to beat me or worse, kill me. I picked up the dog and started running - the field I guess, wasn't exactly just a field. There was foliage in it as well. I almost feel like I have been to a slightly modified version of this place before in my dreams. There was a walk-way with a tree canopy overhead and I ran underneath, but then realized it was fenced in on the other side and I couldn't run through it. I turned around and he was walking toward me. I ran back out from under the canopy and turned left to run back up into the field section of this landscape, but it was fenced as well, and he was walking right toward me. That part of the dream then ended.
The second was certainly one of the weirdest dreams I've had. I was on a reality show with what I'm guessing were people from the medieval era and maybe the Greek God Cupid (or is Cupid the Roman name?). The reality show took place in - haha - the place I grew up. It was taking place in modern-day, although the characters in the dream had medieval minds. At one point, one of the "alpha males" (probably a King or something) had some kind of power over me and I was in the backroom with him and the God Cupid. It gets weird from here, okay? Well, I know this guy is going to execute me or kill me or something. I don't know how, the environment was not medieval at all, but I knew. Cupid was his servant, so it couldn't have really been the Cupid spirit, as a God would never serve a man... unless the dream is trying to say that men have made up Gods when in reality they are just creating what my favorite witch Evelyn Paglini would call "a familiar" which has life magically breathed into it and yet is just an energetic meme with no real mind. He is telling Cupid to kiss my feet, which he does. I know I am furious and want to kick this guy in the face, but I don't because I am afraid of the alpha King. He comes down to my face and he starts threatening me, but before he can get very far I am telling him that if he doesn't hurt me I will help him rule the world. I tell him that I know the world is actually round and that it can be sailed around, and for this reason he can conquer all of it. At first he doesn't believe me, but he looks perplexed by the idea. He tells Cupid to leave. Let me add, I don't know for a fact that this is Cupid, but because of something that happened to me later in the dream I just assumed it was. Anyway. We start to talk about it and I convince him that the world is actually round, then we leave the room. An interviewer tries to talk to me about what just happened because cameras weren't in the room, and I tell him the whole thing, about how Cupid was kissing my feet and how the alpha King was threatening me. Cupid looks pissed but then I ask if he's going to shoot me with his golden arrows - which is why I thought he was Cupid. This dream was bizarre and it ended here because I woke up.
I did go back to sleep though, and had one final and most interesting dream.
It was 1969 and I was Howard Stern, and I was there with Robin Quivers and Artie Lange.
I love the Howard Stern show, by the way, it's hilarious.
Anyway, in this dream, we were broadcasting a show but it was 1969 and the Vietnam War was still going on. We weren't in a studio or anything like that, but I know everything we said was transmitted to a show that was playing in the future. Howard was wearing a purple dandy outfit like it was the 1800s and a top-hat. I don't remember what Robin and Artie were wearing. Anyway, Artie said it was a nice day outside, then Howard said it was awesome except for all the gloom and fog and darkness and it was funny. It was pretty gloomy out, I almost felt like we were in England or something because of the wet atmosphere and the landscape. We got into a car and started slowly driving down a straight road and all of these people started walking toward us. We stared at one little kid and he said he thought it was disrespectful. I as Howard asked why and he said because we were being disrespectful to the war, and he kept walking. I am guessing these people were family members of soldiers or something? I don't know. But then Howard yelled out "We are disrespectful to the war!" and it was funny again because they were doing a show and purposely messing with the time-space continuum. Howard then yelled out that the war was gonna be over in 2 or 3 years anyway, and this was a big joke because he was giving knowledge of the future to someone from the past. I guess if that actually happened it wouldn't really mess with the time-space continuum at all in most cases because the person from the past likely wouldn't believe it anyway. Well, the show goes on and we reach the end of the road, it's a dock at a river. There is a ferry boat and I know we are supposed to get on, but standing in the ferry boat is an enormous, ridiculous can of Pepsi. It's an old style can with white aluminum and the red and blue yin-yang looking thing. I as Howard referred to this thing as "Charon-like" and the dream ended. Charon was the ferry-man who carried souls to the land of the dead in ancient Greek mythology. He was an old man, or variously a skeleton, dressed in a large hooded black robe. This is probably where America gets its image of the Grim Reaper from.
The Howard dream was the most fun.
I can obviously interpret a few things... Pepsi being Charon is obvious... that Pepsi and soft drinks kill people slowly. Dream-meme Cupid not really being a God but a servant is also one... but honestly most of it is so random I can't yet get my head around it. I have been wondering lately who Howard Stern might have been in a past life. It would make sense that he was a dandy in the 1800s. I'm not saying he was though.
