Could Music Cure 'Evil'?

Ok.....As far fetched as I know this will sound, those of you who have studied how creation is based on sound because all matter is made up of a series of vibrations; and all matter, everything is energy........those of you who have read or heard about this will understand what I am about to say.

I was just thinking about this when something occurred to me. You see, I feel that the only real 'evil' is ignorance itself, and amnesia from the only truth....which is Infinite Love; Oneness. Everything else is illusion.

Well, if creation came to be through sound....then we realize just how significant music is. Music has the power to heal, uplift, make us feel energized, amongst a number of things.

Therefor.....I was just wondering.....
Could there be a specific melody or sound in our universe that could help to awaken the most ignorant/evil of beings?????

Please let me know your thoughts, if anyone knows what I am rambling on about!!:)

There was a video on google videos a long time ago back in the day when my might 11 inch biceps were only 10 inches. I dont even use steroids, thats proggress my friend.

It was around 3hours long and a man in a brown suit who was some sort of Doctor ( a real DR, not a sex doctor) was talking about D.N.A and its frequencies and the power of music to heal.

Infact, he came up with a devised plan with the help of some other dorks on which musical chords helped. It had something to do with the universe and the keys in the D.N.A

Maybe with this information, you can find out a bit more and maybe, JUST MAYBE, you can find out where girls pee from.

i like major chord classical music. gregorian chant, buddhist/native american chants, even some indian music. xylophones/rhodes are also very relaxing.

There's no question, my brother. I just heard "Fade to Black" by Metallica come on the radio, and for crap's sake, that's a depressing song...had to turn it off, I got a "negative vibe" from it, you know what I mean?

So, it makes sense that "positive vibes", like Bob Marley taught, is a good thing.

I gotta say I agree, through my own personal experiences not necessarily with evil but with feeling sad or depressed or even sick, I would listen to something soothing like some Pink Floyd, John Lennon/Beatles or some Bob Marley and would concentrate on the vibrations coming from the speakers and it would feel almost magickal. I remember a while back seeing some program on tv where they mentioned some special class where the students had some sort of tumors in their heads and they would all learn to play the harp. As they were playing it, they would press their foreheads to it and the vibrations did heal them after a while. There has to be something to this, I don't believe it could be a coincidence.

I have had different ideas coming up when it comes to this subject. Where I discussed this on anther forum, someone pointed out that some sadistic people are good at music......It made me think that how music effects people all depends on how spiritually attuned the individual is; therefore everybody has different taste and what one person may feel is divine, another person can't stand!

I still think, however, that somewhere, in the infinite universe, such a thing may be possible!

I do agree with miles that everyone has a choice to experiment with the illusions of 'good' and 'evil'. However, I can't help but feel very passionately (as I'm sure most will empathize!) that evils such as torture of the innocent should never happen. I get incredibly depressed when I read or hear about such a thing, but that goes hand in hand with being a person of an emphatic nature.:(

For example, I have an empathy with animals....Now some of the things I've read about which tare me apart would not effect someone who had absolutely no empathy with animals.

That's why I believe that, in a way, there is no evil except ignorance itself.

Yes, I'm sure that music heals. I also think that great music has to be responsible for many of the positive changes in the world, changing consciousness.

i like that track because of the melody but i cant listen to it as it does depress the shit out of me .certain notes produce melancholy while others uplift .By the way apparently the distance between the planets corrosponds to an octave according to robert temple in the book the crystal sun , so the universe is musical as wellas mathmatical maybe why angels listen to the sun rise and settingand the music of the spheres , maybe we are just not quiet attuned to it yet .Although on occasion i think i hear faint celestial sounding music .Im finding im listening to my own music less and less lately , i love music but most of it is old stuff not so much new bands percentage wise ?
