I received an email today from the makers of Zeitgeist which i will paste below.

The bottom line is that some people who obviously oppose the documentary are trying to get it's wikipedia entry deleted.

Obviously this movie has ruffled a few feathers!

Friends,
Sorry to disturb you.
A person was kind enough to create a Wikipedia entry for Zeitgeist, which I became aware of recently and have been working to update with sources/footnotes. I have about 20% of the footnotes there and will add more this weekend. The page is under construction.

However, there's pressure to get it removed by opposing parties for various reasons. It has been "flagged" for deletion.

It would be great if any of you could go to this page, and post an argument for it to be kept.

Put- "Keep" and describe reasons supporting it.

[Issues are "Reliable Sources" (which more are being added this weekend ) and its "Notability", which basically say the work deserves to have a post because it is receiving widespread interest ( 455k views in less than 3 weeks for just the final version for example.) ]

thanks for any help.
Peter J.

Jordan Maxwell AKA BBC of America.

Court judgments
On January 28, 2004, the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) issued a default judgment and order against Jordan Maxwell, aka Russell Pine, charging that he, along with Vic Varjabedian, aka Victor Varjabedian, aka Varouj Varjabedian, violated the FTC act, in connection with illegally and deceptively selling marketed international driving permits over the internet.

According to the Memorandum Opinion in Support of Order, under section II entitled FACTS, both Jordan Maxwell, aka Russell Pine, and Vic Varjabedian, from about December 1999 to January 2003 "conducted a nationwide scheme to defraud customers using an internet website and in-bound telemarketing calls. The defendants maintained this website, http://www.bbcoa.com/,[10] where they sold fake international driver's permits, bogus credit repair services, and sham debt termination programs. Maxwell and Varjabedian have directed, controlled, and participated in the acts and practices of BBCOA."[11][12]
