I recently looked into how the banks operate the money scam. Its a total racket. As the subject of Economics is based on this flawed operation it occurred to me that Economics as a subject (say at A level) is a complete fantasy world. If money was run properly for the people then economic rules, laws whatever would be completely different?

An economist and also a teacher in economics , from Bangladesh, founder of the Greeman Bank,
and of the MICROCREDIT, is well worth reading, he recently got the Nobel Peace Prize. He has a very worth while reading book called "A world without
poverty." Here he explains how he is already doing this ,his fights with the big banks, World Bank ,who only lends huge amounts of money. The Greeman Bank lends only to those in need, small amounts like the equivalent of 100 to 300 dollars, or what ever small amout needed to keep their small iniative going.Has no offices, they go to people. Most of the people in the Bank are women, since they are more trustworthy in paying back ,and the loan is given to the wife, not the husband, since he sees more responsability
in them, and has people to help them make the right choices, this Bank has grown quite a lot. Does not lend to government ,straight to those who needed only, that way government corruption is left out. Many big banks now are beginning to use the MICROCREDIT.
After teaching the great economist and going to the street to find out that everything was a mess in such a poor country as Bangladesh, once saw a woman there, who made chairs with bamboo, and was entirely full of debts
with abusive lenders, who took all her gainings, found that all this woman's problems could be settled with 20 dollars.
But he found that more than just money, the people needed to obtain self-respect, esteem, by becoming small business men and women. His idea has been exported world wide ,THE MICROCREDIT, has been used in different countries world wide, with different names, but the same purpose.
So to him this is not about money only, it is of personal creativity, where
money is only part of the whole. It has nothing to do with politics, religion,
ideologies , the human being is the center of it all.
