Looks like the goverment will have there victory over the people of this country total surveillance is the agenda and to what end we all know CCTV does nothing to end crime so what if we hand over all our personal information and our every thought to make this a much safer country to live in ??

Think of the money needed to create such a system or is it already in place

David Icke was right the Beast does exist .... Its name is the national database.

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/5215413/Every-phone-call-email-or-website-visit-to-be-monitored.html

Every phone call, email or website visit 'to be monitored'
The proposals will give police and security services the power to snoop on every single communication made by the public with the data then likely to be stored in an enormous national database. The precise content of calls and other communications would not be accessible but even text messages and visits to social networking sites such as Facebook and Twitter would be tracked.

The move has alarmed civil liberty campaigners, and the country's data protection watchdog last night warned the proposals would be "unacceptable".
Jacqui Smith, the Home Secretary, will argue the powers are needed to target terrorists and serious criminals who are taking advantage of the increasing complex nature of communications to plot atrocities and crimes.
A consultation document on the plans, known in Whitehall as the Interception Modernisation Programme, is likely to put great emphasis on the threat facing Britain and warn the alternative to the powers would be a massive expansion of surveillance.

Course he was right, just as there were some before him who knew there are now more after him who've been stating the bleedin' obvious for years.

I still like the idea of The Beast as a supercomputer D-base that has everyone on file, though. Planet-wide, I mean.

I heard it was somewhere in Western Europe, something intuitively tells me its linked to the Doomsday Seed vaults there. But that may be a digression.

Ain't if funny how the Christ's teachings about the Brotherhood of Man, which were the opposite of the Master-Slave dichotomy of capitalism wherein we would not submit to another as master but rather love him as a brother, has been twisted to include submission to the "brother" as a sign of devotion to the authority of the father? "Big Brother", now the bully-enforcer of the Father's authoritarian will...

WTF!

"is likely to put great emphasis on the threat facing Britain and warn the alternative to the powers would be a massive expansion of surveillance. "

So, the alternative to a massive expansion of surveillance, is..... a massive expansion of surveillance.?

Isn't that what the article says?

'Technology' is the weapon of choice of TPTB.

Email, mobile phones, the media, the internet.

We all love these things... and in most cases... we can't live without them.

Yet, most people don't realise that these cravings/addictions are being used against us.

Why can't people wake up and realise that speaking to someone face to face is far more effective and far safer?...

TPTB use these methods... an example being: Bilderberg meetings.

Sitting behind a computer screen typing f' you is so big and hard. When you realise that some sick sychophant is monitoring you and is prepared to use (Police) violence against you for this thought crime then you realise the error of your ways.

'Impossible' is a strong word.

However you might want to consider this:

However, the truth is, I've yet to see ANYBODY on this forum PROVE/DISPROVE what you have said.

Anything the government/mainstream media says is usually lies and propaganda.

So you may well be right ;)

the force that is driving the elite is not human, it resembles closely to an artificial intelligence.

a supercomputer that controls their subconscious minds from the future, waiting for the moment it's switched on?

I think the main point here is that all our private communications will be detained on a database that will be searchable by various government agencies. How long will it be before people acquiesce to departments like the DWP and CSA using this data against us? Someone could take you to court for something you are innocent for but you may have to deal with a court order that opens your data to scrutiny. This could well be reality very soon.

The database won't be secure either as the government prove themselves incompetent and corrupt at almost every level.

Ehm? Echolon probably existed the last 20 years. This is not about beginning to do those things, its about more people doing it. Echelon has been doing exactly that for quite a few years in all of the world. Now the british wants to do it themselves as well.

Maybe you didnt know that most of our emails actually goes to the US before it goes to wherever we are sending them? Just like all phonecalls are monitored for key words.

Computer users across Europe should encrypt all their e-mails, to avoid being spied on by a UK-US eavesdropping network, say Euro-MPs.

The tentacles of the Echelon network stretch so far that the UK's involvement could constitute a breach of human rights, they say.

The Euro-MPs have been studying Echelon for almost a year, after allegations that it has been used by the US to commit industrial espionage against European firms.

They conclude that Echelon - whose existence is not officially acknowledged - is reading millions of e-mails and faxes sent every day by ordinary people.

Its not even that secret anymore, and this was from 2001... I thought people knew about this.

It's already being done and probably has been done since Day One of the internet.

This isn't about starting to surveil people, it's about conditioning the public to accept that they're under surveillance.

The way technology speeds up...

I've heard people say that military tech is about 50 years ahead. At least in recent years it was, but like how tech development speeds up who knows? It's been exponential. I wouldn't doubt they can scan everything. But not with the kind of computers we use. Quantum computers etc..

Course, that's all just guess, not based off any facts.

Well recently a poster said s/he was going to report this forum to the police for religious and racial hatecrime...
At the moment we have at least one visitor testing the waters here regarding the cult of scientology ... Scientology of course are notorious for suing the arse of anyone who voices criticism of their organisation. And because they are filthy rich they win because normal people, or grass roots organisations can't afford the legal cost. In this way scientology has either bought up or sued into silence cult-information networks etc...

Who knows what the charges may be in the end - if any - could be anything, really. The main thing is not to silence or censor ourselves.

Freedom of speech :) and freedom of thought :) Freedom :)

nope!

BT has been keeping a track of every number you phone since the early 80s. They had a piece of software that wouldplot who you call most frequently, and who they call, and so on, and build up a spider-web diagram of networks of who is freinds with who in the UK.

Been going on for years!

Don't kid yourself, if you know anything about modern computing technology, you would know that they have the cappacity and the procesing power to do this and more.

A movie about this has already been made:

http://www.apple.com/trailers/independent/echelonconspiracy/

Official Echelon Movie Trailer - YouTube

And probably many others.

This one is about Echelon becomming self aware and trying to upgrade itself to serve its purpose better. Protect the US and the world by monitoring every computer and website, instead of just all phones and cameras and emails as it is currently doing. Even webcams on computers could be monitored ( in the movie at least).

As it is now the NSA can use any mobile phone as a microphone to listen in on people when not using the phone. Guess the quality and the phone being in a pocket would make it hard to be usefull, but still. I work at an ISP and currently our emails have to pass by the US before going to the actuall recipent.

Of course these huge amounts of data cant be read by people. Which is why they have to use key words to flag some of the emails and phone calls, and even then its HUGE amount of data. When it comes to webpages it gets even harder to have personal attention to it all. Which is why they use super computers.

I wonder if NSA use google for spying? Its search engine has actually before had flaws and still has, that gives away insecure websites, like having the link to the admin page in its database. Mostly due to the admin there not protecting the web page well enough.

as someone already said its bleeding obvious whats going on, yet people are only intrested in trivia, who will win hells kitchen, who wins the football, what one gossip said to the other
in october a aircraft circled for over 5 hours above emmiting trails, surprise surprise , we all got bad colds and ful, the same thing happened in feb , and we all got it again within days,
banks crashed to panic people, people over the last 20 years being told that techno goods improve their live , when in fact they have mad them lazy and over weight, parents led to believe that kids are in danger playing out, (getting fitter and learning social skills) so they are kept in staring at the play station, internet users encourage to give their details on places like face book and friend reunited, very clever , schools providing the tell me back what i have told you over the last 11 years and you will get exam passes, eg puppets that if they dare question whats told to them they are classed as trouble makers, then we have the planned wars, planned terrorist attacks (by the usa) to encite hatred amongst one group in soceity against another,
and now we have another scare tatic or plan to cull the population by the man made flu, either way the companies that produce the vaccine are in a win win situation , create the virus , release it then reap the rewards of their evil work, this can only be beaten by refusing any vaccine or any products that are to help with the symtoms, we could all bring this to a stop if we all stuck together and get off our arses and start fighting back, when we unite we become one,
still never mind its all in our minds , lets get back to the footie,
people are bloody pathetic
