Theres a link on that website that takes you to this site (http://news.independent.co.uk/world/middle_east/article2573299.ece) where theres an article about Iraq's new export, opium. Seems the farmers are growing poppies now instead of the rice they used to grow.
I'm sure i read somewhere that since the American invasion of Afghanistan the production of opium has risen significantly.
Is there a pattern happening here?
