CELESTIAL GATHERING: When the sun goes down on Monday, July 16th, step outside and look west. You'll see Venus, Saturn and the bright star Regulus forming a trangle with the crescent Moon inside. A backyard telescope pointed at Venus reveals it to be a crescent almost as slender as the Moon.

cool indeed:
thank you for the info :)
i didn't do that on Monday, but as i went outside today (Tue), here in the southern hemispere, and looked at the rising Moon and noticed this amazing "triangle" made by the MOON and that amazingly and increasingly brighter star and another third one which I have no idea what it is called...

I have been noticing the intensidy with wich the Moon and stars now reflect the sun's light.... anyone? i wonder if the apart of the Sun something else as bright as it is near or the SUN grew? LOL!!!!
is anyone noticing the ontensity of light from the Moon????????
i know i am noticing it for the last 5 years!!!!!!!!!
specially full moons, here it's brghtness looks like a lamp lit, not like 10 years ago...
