View Full Version : The illusion of the time trap

I don't know if anyone else feels this, but recently I have been pondering the way modern life in the West is engineered to fill our time with useless, un-enjoyable, meaningless activities so as to distract us from aligning ourselves and becoming more congruous with our inner nature and the source as it were.

I would love to spend more time devoting myself to more spiritual pursuits, but after a days hard graft, and all the day to day drudgery, I was feeling as though I had literally had the life sucked out of me.

So I started visualising what I wanted the end result to be and I have been experimenting with ways to make more time, my body clock and my perception of time.

So basically, if time is not linear and is an illusion and a man made construct, which I believe has been created to trap us, it should be well within our means to break free of this and become masters of time and not slaves to it.

I have good days and bad days with this, and it is still a process of trial and error. I have not worn a watch for years which probably helps (I have nothing but disdain for reality bands!).

It would be great if other people who have been experimenting with this could share their experiences, theories, successes and even failures.

Peace :)

I haven't worn a watch in about 15 years but am allways aware of the time to within a 20 minute margin of error.

I think the whole 12-based system is designed to fuck you up, if you take the 13th sign of the zodiac "Ophiuchus" (the one they conveniently ignore) then all of a sudden you have 13 mo(o)nths with 13 full moons per year which ties in with a lof of other shit too such as the mayan calander which is also in 13ths.

oohhh but 13's an unlucky number... let's watch 24 instead.

Another bit of trivia that i read in the following book:

"The Etheric Formative Forces in Cosmos, Earth and Man: A Path of Investigation into the World of the Living"
written by the german anthroposophist Günther Wachsmuth in 1924

Basically YOU, without any conscious thought whatsoever, breathe, on average, 18 times per minute, that's 1080 times per hour and 25,920 times PER DAY.

The SUN requires for one platonic year (ie. the precession of the equinoxes/the time it takes the sun to traverse through all signs of the zodiac) 25,920 Years.!!

One solar day: 25,920 breaths
One Solar Year: 25,920 years.
