Just wondered what you lot thought to the internet.Shouldnt it be alot better than it is? In my experience alot of my friends are now hooked on it , and would rather be there 'alter ego' than there true selfs. Its come to the point where its lucky if you get a normal face to face conversation anymore.People in my life seem much more intrested in getting there buddie lists up and just having incredibly shallow conversations that soon petter out and are become nothing.Im all for the internet on sites like this, i find it very intresting and a great place to share views and listen to very intresting people, but not at the expense of a real life conversation with a real person. In my experience nothing beats a great deep talk around friends.Other the internet you just see what someone writes, probrably 1% of the depth of the conversation.Dont you think its sad that this is the way the world is going? An example - before gaming pc's people used to make the effort to meet up with a playstation and some beers etc etc, now its ' ill meet you on the net'! Along with the popularity of chatrooms which i think should be banned. Its suddenly become normal on chatrooms and online gaming for adults to swear in front of kids etc.Maybe im going ott but i now no longer have msn messenger or yahoo messenger and refuse to text someone. When i was a kid we used to go out in cars and meet people in raves etc etc, now the new generation puts a site on myspace and sits in talking to strangers.I just think the internet has made it too easy for people. Also i know a few people that spend so long being there 'alter ego' that that becomes who they are.Sorry for blabbing on, what does anyone else think?

Hear all you say - and some truth in it.
I can only speak for myself. I have avoided the myspace type head trips, but do sincerely value and appreciate the potential spacious communication offered through the web, the ability to connect with other folk resonating with a degree of conscious awareness.
The more i perceive myself to be blossoming and flowering, the more separate I feel - from those around me who take the media fed programming so darn seriously.
The populace on mass are becoming so incredibly open to the most bizarre programming that I feel the web can be a sacred space of plugging into source of clarity!
blessings.

The internet is one of the best thing ever invented.

I think right now it's just coming of age...The internet is like distillation apparatus, each time you distil the info more and more truth comes out.

The internet shouldn't be regulated at all, I'm sure if thing continued as they are, the truth movement would completely take over the internet and people will start to make an effort to take away their conditioning and a lot will come out of their online game worlds and into the real world once again. It’s so much more interesting.

The Internet, like all technology is neither 'good nor 'bad'. It all depends on how it is used. I think it is is one of those technologies that we were 'meant' to have, in order for the 'light' i.e the 'truth' (in its various forms) to be revealed to us.
The forces of darkness are manipulating us through this medium too, so It is essential that we practice the utmost discernment when we are looking for answers.
There's so much crap here that I think that one of the 'good' things to come out of this invention, is that we all get a chance to 'discover', flex & practice our Intuition. When the shit finally hits the fan, its the one thing that, IMHO, will save us......

People who can - do.

People who can't - teach.

The Internet is full of "teachers".

I think the way people use the internet is driven by the insane society we have had foisted upon us. There's pedophiles everywhere, mobile phones, herded into cities, bad bad education, poisons affecting the mind, pornography, drugs, beer, single parents, etc. etc.

When I was a kid there was non of this. I was never in. I knew every inch of the surrounding countryside, I played sports, I built planes, go-carts. We played... properly. Others in the community knew me, and I knew them. And we had a 'local' policeman who actually knew us too, and he kept control because we all had respect for each other to some degree.

Nowadays if a group of kids got seen around a stream in a field they are likely to have their collar felt, social services notified, parents warned.... its terrible.

What I'm saying is its all part of the plan, to get everyone used to living in a box and communicating via an implant. You only get out to work!

internet is a tool.
the intent behind the tool is what makes that tool "good"or "bad" in eyes of many.
but, a tool cannot be good or bad.

is knife good or bad?
knife can kill or it can save lives by cutting a
part of flesh when life or death situation arises.
how about an airplane?
airplane can drop the bombs killing people or it can take people to a vacation.

it all depends how you use it, right?
so is the internet; the dark forces would like to use the tool in this manner:

but we can use it to spread love, peace and help awakening process as well use it as greatest learning tool ever.

yap, that is the idea -- keep people isolated until they are chipped, then it won't matter.
they would be as bright as protagonists of "idiocracy" movie.
BTW, that is a movie that you have to see!

The purpose of the program set up by the Pentagon, called the "Human Hibernation Project," is designed so that the military can save their best men for when they're needed most. According to the officers heading the project, too many times the talents and expensive training of the best pilots and soldiers go to waste during times of peace. So they enlist Bauers (Wilson), the most under-achieving average guy they've got, to be the test subject for the initial hibernation experiment. Also participating in the top-secret program is Rita (Rudolph), a prostitute who agreed to take part in exchange for dropping some criminal charges against her, among other things. Of course, the experiment, which was to last only a year, goes under due to the arrest of Officer Collins, who is busted for heading a prostitution ring. Seeing as though he was in charge of the experiment, one of the only ones who knew of its existence, and "due to a lot of top-secret red tape... and the massive scandals and base closure that followed, Joe and Rita were forgotten about. Written by Slider

Joe Bauers, an Army librarian, is judged to be absolutely average in every regard, has no relatives, has no future, so he's chosen to be one of the two test subjects in a top-secret hibernation program. He and hooker Rita were to awaken in one year, but things go wrong and they wake up instead in 2505. By this time, stupid people have outbred intelligent people; the world is (barely) run by morons--and Joe and Rita are the smartest people in America

internet is a tool.

Yes, and Internet is a very powerful tool. I hope the authority will not try to put a cold, wet blanket of control over it.

I see the potential for the marriage between grassroot movements and mainstream media on the Web. A kind of three-tier layering with (1) mainstream media (like CNN, BBC etc), (2) hybrids between mainstream media and user-generated content (future services), and (3) grassroot media (blogs, forums etc).

I see the potential for the marriage between grassroot movements and mainstream media on the Web.

If I were a medium size mainstream media company, I would fast as a fury move into the direction of creating a new form of media as a hybrid between user-generated content and mainstream media reporting. There's a huge business opportunity in that. Not in order to suck as much profit out of it as possible. Profit is important, but it's only one link in the chain of business today. What is needed for future media is integrity, ethics, honesty, profit, popularity and so on. Not ONLY profit to please simpleminded shareholder interests.

The nature of the internet is most useful to gain wisdom.

But you must be careful who you listen to, not everyone is an honest source.

The internet is so filled with counter-control data, it is a wonder that it is allowed to operate at all.

So, use it today, take advantage of the knowledge...Before they ban it!
