Well, went down to Wiltshire today with a mate of mine, it was different!
We were just about to hit the M4, I was in the fast lane doing 80mph when my mini suddenly lost all power:eek:, fooking hell! I had my foot on accelerator with only 10% of the power, hit the hazards and made it to hard shoulder with everyone hooting there horns! It was worrying to say the least! The engine was making a very odd noise, like a tractor! There was the engine management light on, the electrics and the emissions light on! I switched the engine off, then gave it 1 min, when it seemed ok, so we carried on, wasn't going to be stopped to get in some circles!:D
About 20 miles down the M4, it did it again, oh fook, here we go again, fooking lights on everywhere on the dash!! Did the same again, and carried on!! When we left, my car was totally fine, no lights on, it was fine at 90mph, no problems!
My mate & I reckon we had the car interferred with from 'factions' unknown, something appeared to be trying to stop us from getting to Wiltshire, what do you all think?.............................
Finally made it to the Silent Circle cafe after 1hr & 40mins! Had a great full english with proper coffee!
Then we met Stuart & Mark of the Crop Circle Connector site, had a chat then went off to Alton Barnes, East Field to check out the best formation of the year! Walked up Golden Ball hill and took some footage of the East Field formation, christ it's big! also filmed the Golden Ball hill formation in the corner of the field, small but nice. May have got a white ball on top of the crop on the Golden Ball circle, not sure, more investigation needed!:)
Then went to the car park at the other end of east field so we could get in the formation, my mate waited in the car as there has been a load of break ins done of the cars there. Took me 30mins to walk round the formation!:eek I laid down a few times, felt such peace in the formation, great energy!:) Had a chat with a nice German guy who I met last year in a circle!
The 2 pics are me on top of Golden Ball hill with the East Field formation in the background!:) The other one was taken above the the Silent Circle cafe with a chemtrail:( and a nice big orb botton right corner:)
Interesting day!!

Sounds like you had a good time, LB; good for you!
I love the Silent Circle; you can always have a good chat with people in there. In 2003 there was alady running it; I don't know if she's still there. She told me how to tell whether a circle is man-made or not.
I also like the Barge in Alton Barnes. Although Alton Barnes is a creepy place with a dark atmosphere. I've a feeling the entire village has been abducted and implanted. No joke!

Thank you both for the information. I'm off down to Christchurch next weekend & may pop in on the way down, or the way back.
A lot of them look like Mandelbrot Sets, has anybody done research in that area you could point me towards?

Thanks honey :) Yeah we didn't actually realise it was Golden Ball Hill, but saw some cars parked up & travellers in campers living there so thought it'd be worth a look & hey presto there it was - WOW!!!
I didn't find it that steep, it was much worse clambering up Glastonbury Tor for the first time years ago, before we realised there was a path, lol!! Sheep were giving us funny looks & then got to the top to see all these oldies not even out of breath, LMAO!!:D

Do any of you know where this is on a map? Only been to Wilts once and forgot where this is. Thought it was called merlins tomb but nothing comes up on Google.

Daniel that's Silbury Hill, just up the road from Avebury & next to West Kennett Longbarrow. The bastards are actually tunneling into it at the mo & I got this pic last week, it's quite upsetting to see the damage they're doing to it :( The entrance to the tunnel is right in the middle of the path used to walk up the hill, which is well inconvenient!!

You're welcome!!
There have been a previous tunneling attempts but found nothing as it's not a burial chamber. From the various info I've read (& rings most true to me) is that it's a representation of the goddess / earth mother giving birth. Apparently this can be seen during the autumn equinox from sunrise to sunset, where the hill actually appears to be going through the birthing process... Cool stuff IMO
It used to have a moat around it too, although hardly ever these days, I've only seen this once & it totally transforms the look & feel of it, amazing!

I've heard something about this and I think that the work going on their at the moment is restoration. I hope so anyway! I'm totally against tunnelling into Silbury hill. it must do enormous damage. I remember they dug a tunnel in horizontally from the base in the 1960's and filmed it on live TV! Check this out; the Druids are performing a ceremony before opening it:

Hi HC
I'm afraid I can't view that link yet as I'm at work. But I did come across some vids a couple of weeks ago showing the restoration which began on 11 May 07 (is this the same link?).
However, I don't really accept the "restoration" excuse, the hill is so huge, it would take a lot to destroy it & it doesn't receive that many visitors to do much damage. I personally think they're doing more damage than good by tunneling & should just leave it alone IMO! :(

I have no idea why it's called that. It was my first ever trip to Alton Barnes as I usually just trapse around Avebury, Silbury & West Kennett etc. Have driven through it before, but that's about it.

my mate had a good idea what it might be.... they used to burn people when they died and this may have been for a person of worship so they built this huge hill for him to burn ontop of... and have the hill left there in his/her name....
thought it could have been true..

Hi lookfar,
The film is a 6-minute camcoder shot of the builders around the tunnel entrance and two druids. One has stag antlers and the other is a bloke with a long beard.
I think I've met the bloke with the beard. He's the warden of Avebury and an amazing guy. I can't remember his name, but I hear he used to be a stockbroker in London until he got fed up with the materialist consumerist ethic and broke away from it. Good for him!:)

Hi TW
Blimey that would've had to have been a VERY important person as I believe the hill took years to build.
Just came across an English Heritage site which had this to say (although it's not very detailed)...
How long did Silbury take to build?
Radiocarbon dating has provided us with two possible time spans for the construction of the Hill – less than 115 years, or between 140 and 435 years. Finding new organic material from the top and bottom of the Hill should allow us to establish this chronology more accurately. Taken from http://www.english-heritage.org.uk/server/show/nav.00100100100s006005
It also contained this about the damage. It appears that the tunnelling that's taken place over the years has caused the poor hill to collapse :( Why don't they just leave things alone instead of trying to loot them, gggrrrr!?!

Well, a few years ago while my mate & I were down in Alton Barnes up Golden Ball hill, he filmed a golden ball sitting in a field, it was about a mile away! This must have been the reason why the cows were huddled in the opposite corner of the field!

The orbs or "luminosities" are very cxlosely connected with crop circles. See this; I don't know if it's real or not:

This is the Oliver's Castle footage, accepted as hoaxed, but I feel it is real orb footage with CGI effects of the formation appearing. This is how quick real circles go down................:)
