Officially this painting is created by Alex Grey. I know theres alot of people on this forum that don't need the explaining, but I figure some history never hurt no one in the present. The piece is called "Gaia". The date for its creation is 1989, and because of this, certain aspects of it are very, very, intriguing to say the least.:eek:
Alex Grey is indeed a obvious embodiment of Talent, in which being consciously aware of himself and what surrounds all of us, comes to life through his works. OK, now i feel like I'm writing a news article........ heres the a portion of "Gaia" that I wanted to discuss, thanks to some feedback by a interested forum member.:)

it depicts 'a' bush feeding, what would seemingly be hundreds of open hands on his right (masculine) side and the power station / word demise / smoking chimneys / ozone layer depletion (very true given his stance against environmental issues) / pollution on the femine (left) side = starving and simultaneously killing mother earth while feeding the one all seeing eye and the open male dominant hand?
The animals are dying, the reptilian that stands close to the Bush character, and is actually touching him, looks like a phalic symbol, and the tree roots look like reppie skin...
lots of very intresting analogies there, even beyond the 'smoking towers' and twin tower / plane imagery: and worth studying in more depth as i have only had a quick look
EDIT - also if you zoom into the sky, just in front of the two planes there is a partial devil face in the sky on a grid cross (in fact there is a it forms a triangle with the planes, and a triangle with both sets of towers - i know three objects for 'natural triangles, but there are at least two very obvious ones here, i wonder what the significance of triangles / pyramids are to the illumined ones)
