Forced to grow food

The people around me who have allotments have been threatend with loosing their allotment if they do not grow food on it. In years gone by the council were not really bothered but this year..... grow food or else!

there an alotment near me...and some of my neighbours have gotten in to growing there own food(but only recently)...but there is a few alotments going for rent...:confused: isnt it normally pretty hard to find an allotment...like u have to be put on a waiting list??

maybe its a similar storey..people who only want to grow plants/get away from the missus;):p..are being told to grow food!?!

Just plant a couple of cabbages.

perhaps there is a waiting list, allotments can be very sort after, perhaps its just a case of use or loose

Could be. They may want to prioritise allocation to those who want to grow food rather than people who want to keep sky rats.
