The myth they tried to bust was whether plants had feelings & could read minds.
They hooked a plant up a polygraph, then they slapped the plant around. The polygraph moved. They blasted it with a fire extinguisher (the heathen plant torturers!). The polygraph moved even more.
Then, a guy imagined the plant was on fire without slapping/fire extinguishing, and the polygraph moved.
Pretty cool.
Poor plants. Only minds so far removed from the source could even question the viability of whether plants 'have feelings'. They do. There will be few p***-takers on this thread ready to debunk that fact, I'll wager.
Oh yes, & I spoke to the ants in my greenhouse who were busy farming the aphids on my single aubergine plant , & asked them to leave & occupy either one of my numerous pepper bushes. They did, that evening.
The shamans here will know exactly what I'm about, the others will have their day.
There. I'm out. I talk to plants & insects - all the time.:D The family think I'm nuts anyway, so what have i got to lose?

On salvia I once thought a plant was communicating to me via telepathy.
Erm not so sure whether it was just my own subconscious playing tricks on me though
Subconcious is a very powerful force, far more so than the concious, which is ruled by the ego. Anything coming through the subconcious always comes from source & can be trusted. Go with it - check out that salvia........!
