This is on google earth, go check it out yourself:

I think it's amazing they're letting you see this (if it's real and not drawn in), I think it's all done deliberatly.

After having a further look, it just seems to be the way the satalites took the images or some background stuff... but then again, I have searched many other lakes and they don't have this pattern. Could be a cover up?

It looks a bit fake to me from the video.

Are you saying you've been on google earth live and seen the same image ?

I have been on google earth, the version I have on my computer must be the second to last update, and seen the same types of images, but only on some of the lakes of Peru. Other lakes and bodies of water don't have that, I have checked.

It could be a cover-up, so they placed some sort of effect over the lakes.

Not sure if that vid showed this:

16°23'12.64"S, 71° 4'52.31"W

Just cut and paste into the search field in google earth

They remind me of integrated circuits.

Dont you mean circuit boards? integrated circuits often look just like a chip.

I thought the lines looked a bit like pipes but the configuration looks weird.

It depends on what is on the chip itself. Usually you'll end up with memory, analog and digital sections which can create a whole network of metal connections. I just drew the comparison because I used to design the things. Honestly, I'm not sure what we're looking at here. My first impression would be an image glitch but I'm not an expert on satellite photography.

It may be some sort of "glitch" or something like that, by why only in the lakes around that general area and not on any other lakes?

And what about the pic in post 6?

That is a very good question and I wish I had the answer.

Very interesting indeed

If there really are cities under there, who knows, maybe the Sumerian accounts of planet Tiamet (the watery monster) that was destroyed and filled all Earth's oceans has some validity?! Maybe the survivors went high into the mountains (Machu Picchu)? :)

Regardless, I'm definitely gonna keep an eye on this thread.

my first thought was that theyre just old ruins.. but some of them are far too detailed to be that.

interesting stuff

Reminds me of the Bond film "You Only Live Twice" - where the lake was a roof to an underground base.

Yeah, someone in the area needs to check it out. Anyone from Peru?!

I assume you guys have seen the latest Google Earth view of the lake in Peru shown above (at 16 23'12.64"S, 71 4'52.31"W)?

A lot more lines and patterns are now shown. It appears to me to be a dry lake used for growing crops over the summer, reverting to a filled lake over the winter. Seems to be an ad-hoc layout, probably done differently each season by many different farmers and individuals without any actual plan.

Certainly not an underwater city anyway. I would also suggest this seasonal farming probably happens across many of the Peruvian high plateau lakes. It's 4000 metres above sea level, so plants probably won't grow anywhere else.

I think this image was likely taken after the season had ended, as it appears to be iced over.

Isn't it awfully big to be some sort of farming layout? Also doesn't seem like a dried out lake.

The ending has a silly movie clip in it so ignore that part.

I have a friend who lives in Lima Peru. Ill talk to him about it. I doubt he will knows what I am talking about.

We gotta encourage scuba divers and exploration of these areas. Peru is a magical place.
