Hey all,
Just made it to the final chapter of Global Conspiracies and how to end them last night.....
The chapter on aspartame etc was really an eye opener for me. What foods/drinks are the worst ? What should I avoid? Is there any safe alcohol:D

Hi Freckles,
Great that it was an eye-opener for you!

Superfoods: (from: http://www.naturalnews.com/001539.html)
Chlorella (powerful blood cleanser, liver cleanser, anti-cancer agent and more)
Spirulina (complete plant-based protein, strong anti-cancer food, outstanding minerals (http://www.naturalnews.com/minerals.html) and trace mineral content, great for stabilizing blood sugar (http://www.naturalnews.com/sugar.html), outstanding brain function support, etc.)
Quinoa (a complete protein in a "grain," good fiber, great source of complex carbs)
Wheat grass (loaded with phytonutrients, chlorophyll, vitamins (http://www.naturalnews.com/vitamins.html) and minerals)
Flax seeds (health (http://www.naturalnews.com/health.html) omega-3 oils, impressive prevention of heart disease (http://www.naturalnews.com/heart_disease.html) and atherosclerosis)
Sprouts (broccoli sprouts (http://www.naturalnews.com/broccoli_sprouts.html), clover sprouts, alfalfa sprouts (http://www.naturalnews.com/sprouts.html) and barley sprouts are all powerful "foods as medicine" containing high-density nutrition (http://www.naturalnews.com/nutrition.html) and disease fighting phytochemicals)
Try to avoid processed food and be careful to read all the information on the food you're buying.
(E951=Aspartame)
Good luck :)

Thanks so much Mila :)
I posted about (superhealthy)wild plants on the Health-section, if you want you can take a look here:

Once you start eating this healthy though, it will be EASY to stay away from the processed food, 'cause you won't have a craving for it anymore, at least that's how it worked for me.
The greener the vegetable, the better (it's the chorella in it)
Chocolate and sometimes icecream are my only "sins" nowadays!
But you don't have to become a nun :D

Aspartame is also known as E951, I would also avoid E950 - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Acesulfame_potassium
I imagine that the same thing will happen with aspartame as happened with MSG - they will constantly change the name to trick people into consuming it:mad:
