I am not talking about some strange blur far away in the sky. Suppose at 3am you are lying in bed looking up at the night sky and suddenly you see a UFO up close and you hear it's sound so you KNOW it is not a man made craft.
Then in an instant it was 'gone'. You know that nobody will believe you if you told them about it. What would you do? Would you keep it to yourself?

What i've highlighted happened to me before. But in my experience there was some communication between me and the craft. I've told alot of people about the sighting though i've never really told people about the communication that took place because I can't find the words to accurately describe the experience. It was very, very deep and profound. Also just before the UFO left the beings gave me a demonstration of some of there technology and caused me to have a full blown out of body experience.

lol...... i think half the forum would be saying that, (myself included :p)
i'd love to see one close up, it would give me no fear at all...... the joy would simply be overwhelming though
cmon E.T. pop in for a cuppa one night....;)

:D Yes I have been so stoned some nights out in the fields/woods
First time I'd seen a Police helicopter (they had new one's with big lights called the eye in the sky!)
I really thought it was a UFO :p and was going to land. but of course it was so dark, but eventually heard the sound of helicopter, what a disapointment.
This was many moons ago when I was kind of obsessed with Aliens. And badly wanted contact and to be whisked half way across the milk way or to some planet light years away where all was like heaven. :)

You know, that won't be such a bad thing for most people. Maybe after that they will appreciate what they already have here. Taken by aliens doesn't have to mean your getting into some paradise. I know your joking though.
I don't know what I would do, probably tell some close people I can trust.., but any definite answer on what we would do, you can only know after you've experienced it.

Very good question's, but i feel there are many problems surrounding this subject.
I, for one, AM a believer ! there i siad it out loud!!
But the problems i see are the following:
As believers "we" can NEVER win, if for arguements sake you took a very clear photo / video or even had a peice of "wreckage" or technology from an Alien craft.
The skeptics would say something like, "oh its just been photoshopped, Oh the video is from a film, Oh the wreckage is an old bit of tin.
If you were to show them a "Blob" or a shape in the sky, they would say Oh thats nothing it could be anything, a cloud, a plane etc.
Well yeah thats true i suppose but they never admit to it could be a UFO?
If we produce evidence, then they debunk it because its too good for them, its too real!!
Skeptics want it all their own way

The UFO phenomena wasn’t often talked about in my younger days…As a child I had only seen a few alien themed movies / TV series and even then (due to fidgety-bored kids syndrome) it would’ve been just segments from the Day the Earth stood still, War of the worlds and then there was the TV series Lost in Space, Star Trek, Dr Who, The Invaders...Therefore as far as I knew! All that alien stuff was just made up nonsense for TV / entertainment purpose or by crazy folk…
Hence the very first time that I saw a flying saucer (UFO) I didn’t instantly comprehend what it really was and at first I mistook the UFO for a Fairground big-wheel but then something clicked in my brain which made me realise that the object that the cousin and I were observing was something unfamiliar and then fear set in and we ran the opposite way to whatever it was hovering (a huge silvery coloured ball with middle rim, tri-pod legs and multi-coloured lights illuminating from a row of windows) over the school sports field.
Since then! As an adult I have thought about the maybes’…Like maybe I wouldn’t be so scared now if I ever had the same experience again with a UFO or even an alien species…It’s something that one just doesn’t know until it actually happens and I’ve gone through the pondering about whether the old ticker will take the stress or would curiosity and folly give me a reason to stand my ground.
Anyways! A few months ago I let my dogs outside for their nightly toilet duties. I basically live in the wilderness and I have a barbed wire fence combined with meshed fence around my garden to keep the dogs in and nasty’s out but still, at piddle time I’ll stand outside with the dogs to keep a watch over them with a torch at the ready. Anyhow! As I mentioned a few month ago it was business as normal, I let the dogs out but for some reason, something caught my attention at the bottom of the garden so I shone my torch in that direction and I saw what looked like a long grey body with two long arms…For a split second I felt a cold chill run up my spine until I realised that I was looking at the corner fence post…So now I know for sure! I’d still be scared witless…:o
As for reporting such an event…It seems like a futile effort when the reports are not viewed meaningfully…So the only folk that I’d be brazen enough to tell are you guys…:D

I think most people here would probably post about it on this forum or a UFO forum and tell it to the people they know they can confide in.
But telling it to the police and other authorities? Hmmmm, I can understand people being reluctant to do that. Probably the best thing to do would be to contact a UFO research group and get their advice.

Even if it looked like an alien craft I'd still probably think it was a human scam.

First hand experience would be definate proof for me, doing or not doing something isn't as important as event itself.

its so true....... i could care less what others think, i would know in my own head that they're a realty...
its a 99% probability of truth already, but seeing one close up would remove the remaining 1% that festers in my mind...lol :p
