First time for asparagus actualy, had a spare corner left after trying to root some hedge cuttings, wont harvest it for the first season atleast.

Rapid 7 Mk1, .22, 2008, regulated, very happy with it.

Got carrots, turnip, parsnip, potatoes, lettuce, rocket, peas and herbs to plant yet.

Have nearly doubled my usable land this year, got some to dig still though.

Got a big freezer to fill, been saving jars for couple of years for jams, pickles, chutneys etc. Need a food dehydrator next.

Nearly built a 4m x 4m polythene green house, using an old market stall and an old pile of bricks for the floor.

Getting 10 eggs a day now and just about to try my first hatch in my newly aquired incubator. Had to re-arrange chicken coop because cockeral has got very protective over his ladies, started to strike and draw blood, so not for the faint hearted.

Getting told my eggs are the nicest tasted for years, not surprised, the chicken get fresh veg all year round, :D

not being much of a "gardner" having limited space and this being my first year doing this, I opted for Onions and Potatos and that is it. Lot of rabbits around where I live, so hope they dont get them! Might start using my air rifel to obtain some rabbit pie

Mostly I have planted maincrop Piccaso seed potatos they were not sprouting...so dont know if they will grow or just rot.

Garden season up here will not start until the end of May or so, and so I have over a month left to plan and prepare. Here there is still a risk of late, unexpected frost, so best to wait as long as logically possible. Actually, LOL, I am amazed to hear of a few of you having planted already, or almost ready to go. here I still have some snow left, and the ground is frozen. :( In any case, I have the offer of a garden plot this summer, as I have no yard. I have decided to accept the offer. I'm not sure I even really know how to garden, but I am certainly going to try and see if I can grow vegetables. I am going to check out those videos as well. :)
