I guess that one of the main things I feel like thanking David Icke for is looking at the news with different eyes. It is amazing how often those supposedly unconnected reports fit so well with the point of view that our governments want to impose.
I've been noticing for a while how much we are bombarded with reports that fully support the government’s view on a subject, and how the "reporters" take obvious sides with the scheduled agenda. You may have also noticed that every time our government wants to push a controversial law or regulation, all TV channels are flooded with reports on the subject; of course, from the government's side, and against any opposition.
But today's case was completely different. What I saw on the news was simply disgusting, cheap, obvious and completely out of hand. They started talking about Obama's meeting in France, and about the need for sending more troops to Afghanistan. Suddenly, in the middle that subject, they just to a small report of an Afghan teenager taken by his parents to be punished in public for having a relation before age. Then continued as if nothing talking about the NATO, Obama's meeting and sending more troops to Afghanistan.
I simply couldn’t believe it: it was completely ridiculous; an obviously attempt to provoke the spectator’s outrage for the images and with it justify the need to send more troops to Afghanistan. For god sake, we disciplined our children at school in the same way just 25 years ago, and honestly, I don't think we deserved carpet bomming or an invasion. They are just brainwashing everyone openly and don't even take the precaution of hiding it any more; are we supposed to be that dumb? How can most people be so blind as to ignore what's going on? How can the media even dare to justify a military attack over the way of life of a country, and much less the punishment of a teenager? It's simply disgusting, and what's worst is that many fall for it and support the troops!!!
