The IMF will no longer be regarded as a last-resort option for nations facing bankruptcy, but will instead take preventative action. Many nations have been reluctant to turn to the fund because the stigma of doing so sends bad signals to the financial markets.
The special drawing rights (SDRs) made available by the IMF – which can be converted by national governments into currency
China has publicly called for an increased role for the IMF's own "world currency", the SDR.
A long-awaited reform of the governance of the IMF should deliver China more votes and influence.
They are ditching the dollar as the international currency.
Expect a fall/run on the dollar

look at the featured article. The Protesters Are The Ones We Should Listen To At This Summit (http://www.independent.co.uk/opinion/commentators/johann-hari/johann-hari-the-protesters-are-the-ones-we-should-listen-to-at-this-summit-1661047.html)
Trying to pretend that a "global green new deal" is an idea come up with by protesters and that it not being implemented is actually what they are protesting, not the fact that bankers are looting the world.

It's probably the most ridiculous attempt that I've ever seen at it, though. I'd almost think it was an april fools joke, but it's a day late.
People in England...be honest, was the protesting REALLY about demanding a
"green new deal"? No doubt, there was probably a small group of idiots with their greenpeace signs, but was it REALLY the focus? *I was an ocean away, so I couldn't see for myself*
It seems so ridiculous and over the top.
What this says to me is, holy shit... a lot of people showed up angry about this, we can't deny it, so we'll just pretend that they were screaming about the solution that we've been talking about already so as to get what we want anyway.
